good but a little too spicy
this is really good
Beauty World is full of Korean eateries and restaurants, and Ssada Gimbab is one that offers pretty good Korean fare!
The Soybean Stew ($13) was really comforting and extremely flavourful. Full of ingredients like onions and sliced pork belly, this was one hearty stew full of umami flavours. The only problem was that we wished for more soup as it was so good!
The Cheese Spicy Stir Fried Pork Rice ($15) came in a rather huge portion, with quite alot of melted cheese on top. This gave quite a good cheese pull, and it was so satisfying! The meat was tender and was quite flavourful while being not overly salty. This was pretty addictive and I can see myself wiping this clean!
Definitely one Korean eatery to consider!
Oooh, the tofu stew is so spicy but so addictive at the same time!
โค๏ธ the robust and flavoursome soup pack with stacks of jiggly, soft tofu and seafood.
However, the spicy heat from the soup base is a little too much for me to bear. ๐ฅต I literally lost my voice after slurping half of it. Will certainly request for โless spicyโ version on my next visit.

Just look at how fully stuffed this ๐๐จ๐ง๐ค๐จ๐ญ๐ฌ๐ฎ ๐๐ข๐ฆ๐๐๐ฉ is! Tightly packed within the fluffy rice roll are vibrantly coloured ingredients like pickled radish, egg & carrots, and a chunky piece of deep-fried cutlet! The crunchy, juicy pork slices really hit home, and the portion is good for one without feeling too full. Or you can go for their Shrimp Gimbap, with lightly battered shrimp tempura wrapped in the middle. They also have a mala pork version that I would return for my next visit! ๐
Ordered the ๐๐ก๐๐๐ฌ๐ ๐๐ญ๐๐จ๐ค๐๐จ๐ค๐ค๐ข, which took slightly longer to serve due to the weekend dinner crowd. I enjoyed the thin & long rice cakes coated with melted cheese. Fair warning to y'all, the gochujang sauce is rather spicy, so prepare your tissues first! ๐คญ๐ฅโ

P.S. Yay to free-flow banchan, though we would have loved a greater variety instead of just kimchi (which we like!) and jalapeno! โ
