I woke up early in the morning and leave my house at 7am, so I can come here to enjoy a bowl of kway teow mee soup before going for work.

They onsen early morning from 7am till afternoon time or sold out.

The stall has been running for many years since 1969 and no surprise to see they have garnered a loyal following all these years.

The uncle behind the stall constantly preparing bowl by bowl by himself, and you will be treated with delicious noodle for breakfast.

Bouncy noodle and tossed with all ingredients mixing together. The fishball is chewy and there’s my flavour liver slices with fishcake, minced & lean pork, braised mushroom and pig skin.

Available in both soup or dry version.

Finally tried this hawker legend. Such a comforting bowl of old school. When I eat such food, it always strikes me that this was what generations before me ate. Flurry of ingredients and deep soup. Unfiltered seasoning. Addictive fishballs.

Fantastic price ($30 for large crab/$35 for two small) for fantastic crab. Far exceeds Jumbo and No Signboard. Definitely a hidden gem.

This stall is managed by an elderly couple. And they have been in business since 1969. Old school teochew kwayteow mee. My first time trying it out so I think the taste could have evolved over the years. It is quite tasty. Fishballs were big, soft and bouncy. It is just a tad salty. A generous portion of ingredients too.

Back to "respect the elders". The old uncle who does all the cooking, looks like he has been at it for decades. Bowl after bowl after bowl for almost 40 years. He certainly has got my respect. The stall is located in a super old rundown coffeeshop off Geylang. And it is only opened from 7 to 2.30pm.
