Oriental Mushroom Soup ($6): Was curious to know how oriental mushroom soup could be, but just tasted like those egg drop soup with some mushrooms here and there. Not recommended.
Shellfish Linguine ($26): Slipper lobster wasn't fresh but pasta was decent, tasted like dry prawn noodles. Adding the prawn broth on the side gave it a flavour twist - spicier and slightly bitter from the prawn heads. Meatballs on the side were juicy. Portion was a little bit small though.
Golden Flower cocktail ($22): Great presentation and tasted citrusy and fruity.
3.75β Saw on Chope there's 50% off main this month so make a reservation for today's dinner. I ordered the Octopus Linguine and requested it to be less spicy. It turns out to be not spicy at all as there's no chilli padi in the linguine. The salted egg cream pasta is not overwhelming and surfeited. Octopus is perfectly grilled with slightly charred at the edges. WB ordered the rendang beef cheeks since it's served with butterfly pea rice. Rendang beef cheeks is so tendered and the curry is so fragrant. However the blue pea rice is not served warm and taste hard. Portion is just right for ladies but definitely not full for guys.

hokkaido scallops and ikura with diced pear & radish with housemade yuzu ponzu
Overall, we were belly satisfied with the quality of food, service and ambience. The seared octopus tentacle might look intimidating, but rest assured its texture and taste was to die for.π
Special mention goes out to their Beef Rendang Cheeks, which was surprisingly tender and yummy. I honestly didnβt expect their butterfly pea rice to be sooooo good too!π
