My group of 3 had the whole grain & buttermilk batter. Would recommend the whole grain for a healthier & more unique taste while buttermilk is classic and tasted very similar to McDonalds bfast hotcakes. For toppings, highly recommend the lavender honey ($3) & granola ($1.50). While the pancakes are so-so, I would recommend this place as a fun experience for kids (next to us was a kid's bday party) but also if you're a young adult (like us) looking for a novel and enjoyable experience to do with friends. .

Let kids get creative with DIY pancakes at this pancake parlour. First choose the Batter ($8) — the chocolate is always a winner — then go crazy with sweet and savoury toppings like Strawberries ($3), Hazelnuts ($1.50), Brie ($3) and Crispy Bacon ($2). From simple shapes to imaginative works of art, the possibilities are endless. For parents who aren't keen on getting on the cooking action, there is a compact selection of all-day breakfast plates like Vegetable Benedict ($13.50) and Truck Stop ($20) — a hearty portion of bacon, brioche, potatoes, scrambled eggs and buttermilk pancakes.
Avg price: $17 per person
Awesome place to bring your kids for a time of fun creation of pancakes with ready-made batter! Priced at 8 per bottle of batter, you could make many many pancakes and you are sure to be filled! They have main dishes too and I ordered a grilled chicken main dish. Overpriced I must say, but the sauce was the shining star of the whole dish. Caution: it can get really warm because of the heat from the grill. Other than that, just enjoy😁
Really enjoyable family hands on cooking experience. Offering a wide choice of batter (buttermilk, peanut butter, chocolate, multigrain, zucchini) and toppings, both sweet (berries, choc chip, flavoured honey, jam, banana, lemon curd) and and savoury (cheese, ham, sautéed mushroom, bacon). Nice staff service, would be better if they can be a little more attentive.
Hahahaha. Even the little girl beside our table can recognize our drawings. XD @leenzsim @kwongmh #burpple
Heard much about Slappy Cakes, and it is quite crowded for a weekday noon. But but but... the breakfast set, mushroom scrambled eggs is not that great. Brunch is the IN thing now, but cafés and bistros should perfect their egg recipes before jumping on the bandwagon.
