Indulge in exquisite Chinese cuisine at Sky View Pavilion! Their extensive spread of Cantonese dishes are bound to impress all diners at the table. We’d recommend the Poached Seasonal Vegetable with Assorted Eggs in Superior Stock ($24 for small, $36 for medium, $48 for large) for sharing!

The prawn bodies were sautéed and the heads were fried with salted egg yolk. Really tasty and interesting. A good way to eat the entire prawn without waste. Yummy 👍👍👍

The chunky meat was surprisingly tender with a tab of sweetness from the fruit.

Not if today’s CNY meal was an indicator, and if the set menu prices were anything to go by. 💫
Take the well-done dessert: Pineapple Tarts - 2 freshly baked, warm, aromatic, melty buttery crusts sandwiching a tart pineapple filling that isn’t too sweet, topped with a crunchy cashew nut half. You don’t usually see a resto freshly bake its desserts this way. It was one each, but we all secretly wanted seconds.
💫
Of course, not forgetting the pan fried nian gao (glutinous rice cake) that is another staple at Chinese New Year. An even crispy crust over chewy rice cake.
💫
Lastly, the black sesame Tang Yuan (glutinous rice balls), which had a flavorful, fragrant black sesame filling that had that differentiating little savory oomph to keep you wanting seconds. I had two of those. Says a lot mind you. #skyviewpavilion #cny #lunch #herpenandfork #sgblogger #sgfoodie #8dayseat #burpple #vscofood #openricesg #cafehoppingsg #instafood #instafood_sg #onthetable #stfoodtrending
