Sudden craving for rojak and I decided to settle for this at $4 at the Ponggol Nasi Lemak coffeeshop. It doesn't taste as good as it looks though. Peanuts were kinda not enough and the 油条 were not crispy. If you would like your rojak to be spicy, let me warn you... the chilli is REALLY SPICY! I have high tolerance for spicy but it's really too much for a dish like rojak. Every other taste was ruined. So request for chilli at your risk!

Super simple to end the night with. Pork porridge ($3) with addition Egg at 50c.

Loved the liver, sweet and fresh while perfectly cooked!

A common local dish, but hard to get right. This is one of the best I have ever eaten. The egg/batter is so crispy, and not soggy at all. It is really what makes this place stand out from the rest. It also isn't drenched in oil like most other places. However this is a little pricey, and for $10 you get the portion in the picture which isn't a lot.

Friend jio-ed you for punggol nasi lemak but feel for something else? In the same coffee shop as punggol nasi lemak, there is a shop selling porridge, chee Cheong fun and pictured here is steamed dumplings! Full fillings and drizzled with sauce and garnished with spring and fried onions!
