Came here on a saturday evening and we had a reservation so no wait required. We ordered soo much food because there was so much variety to choose from and i wanted to try them all!

I really enjoyed the Mentaiko Scallops - if you want a switch from the usual Salmon, try this! Their Tori Karaage was sooo good it was crispy on the outside and juicy tender on the inside. You can also try their pork belly skewers. The place has a nice vibe and outdoor seats are available too. We did not get to try their Sake but there was a lot of choices. Definitely a place for a group of friends for a dinner & drinks night out or even a date!

I had a great time at ShuKuu Izakaya & Sake Bar. We ordered quite a few but I particularly enjoyed the Torikawa Orosbi Ponzu and the Hotat Mentai. They have a wide variety of skewers and I would recommend to have it salted instead of the teriyaki sauce but that is just a personal preference. The Gyu Don is a must try to!

located in the CBD area, Shukuu Izakaya & Sake Bar is a fantastic place to have a late night meal after work. we ordered the udon and gyudon for our mains, as well as the 3 plate sashimi (salmon, bluefin tuna, hamachi). would recommend to those in the area!

Chanced upon this cozy Japanese restaurant! Had a comforting bowl of hot udon, with a flavourful clear broth and noodles cooked to perfection. dig into the gyudon next and wow even though it was a simple dish of beef and rice, the thinly sliced beef were packed with loads of flavour and so tender! i must say, the real star of the show was the sashimi platter, featuring mouthwatering salmon and tuna (and one more which i forgot the name to :’)) Each piece was so fresh, it practically melted in my mouth. highly recommend!!

So I visited at around 6pm and it was pretty quiet, but things started picking up around 6.30pm and before you knew it, the place was packed. I ordered a few stuffs - the Kani Gratin, Tare Pork Belly skewer, Wagyu skewer, and a mini gyudon. The food came out fast and let me tell you, that kani gratin was yummy! The crab was super fresh and the pasta was perfectly Al dente. The only downside was that the portion was a bit small. The pork belly and wagyu skewers were both really juicy and had a great marinade. The mini gyudon was decent and had a good amount of meat. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience!

Visited at around 6pm where it was still relatively empty, tables started filling up near 6.30pm and it got real busy.

Ordered the Kani Gratin, Tare Pork Belly skewer, Wagyu skewer and a mini gyudon.

Food arrived promptly and the kani gratin was delish as the crab was fresh and the pasta was Al dente, although the portion could be bigger. The pork belly and wagyu skewers were succulent and marinated well. The mini gyudon portion was alright and the meat was quite substantial.

Pleasant dining experience!
