Made with fresh potatoes that are first boiled, then mashed, shaped in a ball, and deep fried for a crunchy exterior, each ball or “bola” in Malay is filled with a melted core. There are a total of three different flavours with the savoury ones being nacho cheese and tom yum and a sweet treat of chocolate hazelnut. Best eaten hot, you can have it on the spot when buying from the outlets or pop them into the microwave on high heat for 40 seconds. As they are all made in house, there are limited quantities of these every day.

The Bola Bola are available as an ala carte order or you can get them in two different bundles, the first being the Shake Shake Bola Bola Double Bundle ($5.90, U.P. $11.30) that comes with two Bola Bola and 1 flavoured fries or the Shake Shake Bola Bola Shaker Bundle ($21.80, U.P. $36.30) that comes with three Bola Bola, five pieces of Shake Shake chicken, 1 flavoured popcorn chicken and 1 flavoured fries.
