Turtle soup (meat only) - $16
Usually go to their main branch at Geylang, but tried the Potong Pasir one today.
The chilli was not as nice, soup was watered down, meat was tougher, and portion of yam rice was too little. Difference in standard was very clear.

Pig stomach soup ($10):
Comes with radish and substantial amount of pig stomach. Add on rice for 80cents! Good for rainy days!

Didn't dare to try the turtle soup so I had the black chicken one inside!!! Broth was made with herbs and all and tasted really sweet 👌🏼 ($12) together with the yam rice ($1.50). Recommended for those who are craving for warm herbal soup on a rainy day 😊

Hot and wholesome herbal soup made from turtle meat and jelly.

Almost everything tastes like chicken, including turtle meat.

Ser Seng Turtle Soup has been around for decades, unlike me, and is my favourite place to visit for Turtle Soup. What I always go for is the the "meat only" option on their menu. Even if you end up ordering the "meat only" option, they will still provide you with a piece of the turtle's gelatinous skin, which has a jelly-like texture that has absorbed the herbal flavour from the soup.

Pair the meat and soup with Ser Seng's signature chilli sauce, something reminiscent of the chilli sauces with a sour kick from white vinegar that you find at majority of the Kway Chap or Pig Organs Soup stalls, and you will find yourself left with an empty bowl in record time.

For soup lovers like me, you will be glad to know that Ser Seng will gladly top up your soups for you at no charge! In all honesty, I don't even mind not having the turtle meat, the soup is good enough to keep me coming back for more 😌

Filled with collagen and all other health benefits, the turtle meat was actually like chicken lah, and the fat was AMAZING.

The yam rice was probably the best surprise of the night; SO FRAGRANT AND MOIST. Hidden at the side was the half boiled turtle egg which was sort of ok.

Before I get slammed for being unethical for eating turtle meat, this is actually a delicacy which has been around for many years. Defending myself from self righteous comments; unless you don't eat chicken and meat then you come say me ok? Hahahahaha thanks.
