Haha finally had satay here!! Okay, a modern interpretation of it at least. A winner in terms of presentation, but the chicken was essentially breast meat (which caught me by surprise). Also, the lack of honey marination on the satay itself was surprising. Nevertheless, the awesome peanut sauce added the much needed touch of sweetness, completing the entire dish.
Essentially a deconstructed then reconstructed Gado Gado. The sweetness and juiciness of the vege roll went perfectly with the broiled chicken on the side. And not to mention, the super nutty peanut sauce on the side...... 😋😋😋
