You don’t come across many chicken based ramen restaurants. Honestly, it was better than some of the pork based broth I’ve had before.
Well balanced flavours. Creamy and rich broth with thin ramen noodles.
Ramen enthusiasts, pen this spot down for ultra flavourful bowls of chicken ramen for rainy (or any) nights. From the signature toripaitan broth to the salty shio or light-yet-flavourful shoyu, each bowl features umami-packed broth that will leave you slurping every last drop. A must-try is the Toripaitan Egg Extreme (RM19.40) featuring tender chicken slices and a jammy egg garnished with fried onions. Burppler Hemlatha loves how well-balanced the broth is – not too salty nor thick. Pro tip: Burppler Kate Mun Yi says you can have this as a spicy option too! Also worth a try is the Toripaitan Shio Egg (RM15.40) for something less rich but equally flavourful.

This newbie in Damansara Uptown specialises in chicken-based ramen, also known as toripaitan. Go for the house signature Toripaitan Extreme Egg (RM19.40), which Burppler Hemlatha Nagappan enjoyed for its well-balanced soup. The large bowl comes filled with thick noodles, tender chicken slices and jammy egg. Give the accompanying lemon wedge a squeeze to cut through the richness of the broth. Other yummy options worth a try are the Toripaitan Shio Egg (RM16.90) with a saltier broth and the Toripaitan Shoyu Spicy (RM16.90).

Loved the broth! Not too salty and not too thick either.
Ramen has won the hearts of many foodies worldwide! Usually you would find the ramen to be made with a creamy, thick and full of flavour consists of Pork bones including the pork slices which is truly rich yet heartwarming that just makes everyone satisfied especially during the winter months in Japan! But now slowly, the world are getting more health conscious and so they started introducing the option to chicken made ramen.. They have a few options from their original shio to a category called extreme which has a thicker and richer broth and it is their signature ramen broth!
Initially, we were hesitant as the heavy and rich texture of the soup would be hard to achieve with chicken but from this ramen shop, it was a well balanced soup with slight heavy texture on the mouthfeel.. I had the Toripaitan Shio Egg Chien (RM17.40) which has a rich broth and there were a few options but I opted for the one with half boiled egg! The noodle texture was on the soft kind and the broth was quite flavourful without the massive heavy texture.. You can opt for the spicy broth if you are into more spice in your ramen
From Japan to Indonesia and now Malaysia, Ramen Seirock-Ya is one of the few ramen joints that offer tori paitan — creamy, chicken-based broth. You’ll find the standard Miso, Shoyu and Shio variants on the menu, but the must-try is their Extreme broth. Get the Toripaitan Extreme Egg (RM19.40) for a rich, umami-packed bowl of noodles topped with a tender chicken slice and a perfectly-cooked egg. P.s The restaurant is presently in their soft opening stages, so they only allow a handful of walk-ins at a time. This visit comes with a wait, but it's worth it!
