[CLOSED] Sakae Sushi (Paya Lebar Square)

Price after 1 for 1 was great and worth it! Curry was tasty, portion was sufficient! Not super amazing but if you looking to save money this is the place!

Happy Monday! Love this heartwarming golden garlic rice I had at Sakae Sushi. It was really flavourful, and look at the generous portion of crabmeat 🦀. 👍

Admittedly, it's been a while since we last visited Sakae Sushi. Their food range has definitely become more extensive after the menu revamp, e.g. this rice and other dishes available at the teppanyaki section. Thanks @Burpple for organising this eat-up! ❤️

We’ll never be able to finish the sushi rice underneath the pile of raw fish in the chirashi. Same goes for the Gyudon but we like the sweetness of each tender piece of beef and the button mushrooms they added in the bowl. Sakae also offers Miyazaki crystal salad which is super crunchy but you have to try it to know how it feels like because it’s indescribable. Also in conjunction with National Day, they have launched soft shell crab in Chilli sauce which is worth a try!

This platter consists of some unique and unusual sushi which i felt was more adventurous. For instance, the kani fumi miso sushi in grey (crab leg with miso), the Hokkigai clam (in red), akagai clam (second from left). The seafood sure taste fresh, though my favourite has to go to the seaweed maki topped with a dollop of mayo/sour cream!

$69.90 from sakae & ps. some pieces were missing here because we're too hungry!
