Went on a Thursday night. Whole restaurant was empty.
Used Burpple 1-for-1:
• 2 Pork Rib Set, small appetiser and drink $11.90 - soup was more peppery. Would be great if it’s more herbal too. 7/10
• Chicken in a pot $8.90 - chicken was saltish, could taste better 7/10
• Fried dough sticks $2 - could be crispier 7/10
• 2 Rice $2
Total bill:$29 (after tax)
Feels like we’ve tried better Bak Kut teh elsewhere. Service was average. 1-for-1 is pretty worth it, otherwise we will probably not return.
Served hot and crispy, this was a good addition to our meal. Duck was lean and meaty, and the popiah skin was crisp and thin. Might get too oily if you have too much of it though! A worth it appetiser.

The burpple 1 for 1 comes with a Signature Pork Loin set, an appetiser choice of salted vegetables or braised peanuts, and a drink. You’d have to add on for a bowl of rice.
The soup here was light and more peppery than others. The lightness was truly appreciated, as you can have more stomach to ask for more soup refills!🙋🏻♀️ however, there were only 2 loins in it and they were not very meaty either. So for the whole meal I felt like I was just drinking soup. Nonetheless, decent meal for the price, especially with #burpplebeyond!

Got the 1-1 regular BKT meal, together with a bowl of rice ($1) and medium youtiao ($3.60). The soup is not as peppery as other BKT place we’ve been to which makes it more drinkable. The youtiao was fresh and hot too. Not bad overall.
Pretty worth it. Rice is not included. We paid about $15 for the set and one rice. Soup is a little salty but overall still yummy.
Used the 1 for 1 deals and it was so worth except that it does not come with the rice so you hv to top up 1 dollar for tat! Soup was great, the right amt of peppery, however i wished the dough fritters were alit more crispy!
