Tried their special menu (about RM150 for 5 courses + dessert) and it was interesting. Everything is served in individual portions instead of sharing plates, and portion sizes quite generous as well - we were stuffed!
Most original courses would be:
- cold platter (the thing on the right is a prawn & cheese ball with crispy coating, totally unexpected but delicious)
- prawns wrapped in lotus leaves and baked in salt (not bad but I donโt understand the need for sauce)
I also really liked the dessert which was a mango puree with mango bits & sago; more like a drink and hence easier to finish!
Went back to this restaurant for the second time to eat their fresh American oysters again ๐ค It was difficult to get a good angle to take this plate of oysters (hmm might be easier if there are more oysters on the plate ๐).
๐ฒ: RM33++ (for 3 oysters)
The menu "Cereal Butter Prawns" always catches my eye because I can already taste how yummy it will be! The one that I had in Restoran Pekin was among the best that I've ever tried ๐
We found out that there's also cheese oyster! I love it better than the plain one, but I guess it's better to just eat one or two of this cheese oyster ๐ It's slightly more expensive, RM11.0 each, but totally worth it!
Finally went to Johor Bahru for the first time and my friend suggested that we ate seafood here. In the picture is jumbo oysters that cost RM 9.50 each! Super fresh and satisfying!
