Honestly I don't rlly like the char siew here, it's abit rubbery on its own but the texture works w the noodles.
The shrimp dumplings aren't particularly good and quite ex at 1nett a pop. It's got the wanton filling with 1 small shrimp inside
3 wanton, abit more char siew, and a lot more noodles than the 3.5nett portion I presume
But still small portion, esp 3 wantons is quite sad I think
Finally got to try the char siew and it's in line w everything else, abit sweet and pleasant. However it's not too impressive, does its job here
The wantons are usually just 3 pcs? Cos I added 3 wantons and I got 6 in total. That's abit annoying for wanton noodles but I guess it's the same everywhere?
More noodles and wanton than normal. There's a lot of wanton cos they ran out of charsiew at 11am on a sat, so come early
Every element was pleasant and slightly sweet with underlying umami. Esp the wantons which were very familiar for some reason, small and plump and the filling was somewhat dense with a slight bounce, rlly addictive. Noodles had a great bite too and the chili was complex yet not over the top.
Comforting stuff, highly acclaimed for good reason
