This tasted pretty close to bandung, but the smoothie wasn't blended well enough and still had icy shards in it and at 25%, it was waaaay too sweet

I like the boba! Its not overly chewy and doesnt get stuck in my teeth like other bobas! The chrysanthemum milk tea is nice too but reminds me of the f&n chrysanthemum tea... So i honestly expected more 😩 and we ordered 50% which turned out to be too sweet for our liking. We usually order 50% though, so i think Playmade is on the sweeter side

Glad i gave them a second try cos the first time i went, there was a 1-for-1 and the pearls weren’t up to standard. This time round though the pearls were chewier and softer, albeit not the best i had.
I got the matcha latte with sesame pearls ($4.50 +$0.90). The matcha latte was just a tad bit grainy but still quite smooth and the drink was pleasantly sweet with just a tinge of bitterness from the matcha at 25% sugar. The periodic bursts of sesame gave it a savory tone and made it a really enjoyable drink throughout.
