Their cupcakes are ridiculously decadent as usual. One might be too much for 1 pax but it's delicious. Both choc and coconut not too strong, mainly you taste the buttery cupcake

It's alright for their standard, the banana bring fruitiness surprisingly, I didn't really figure out what it is. The banana and choc don't combine particularly well but that didn't really impact the overall taste

Banana cake with dark brown sugar packed with generous chunks of fresh banana. Had it toasted; it was dense, moist and crisp along the edges and slightly on the sweeter side.

Decent banana bread but wouldn’t return for this.

Salted caramel tart ($8) 🧁 6/10

Let's face it. $8 for this tart is not worth it. Despite its name, the tart's contents were 90% chocolate mousse and 10% salted caramel. Unduly surfeiting and uninspiring.

Call me Scrooge McAuntie but I wouldnt recommend this despite all the hype.

I was in the mood for a carby creamy salad, so went to Plain Vanilla and got a mix of 2 salads in small size (petite is $6, small is $12, large is $18). One of them had orrechiette and carrots. The other had kale, red rice, pumpkin, edamame, pine nuts, pistachios, feta cheese and an avocado dressing. Both were creamy and delicious, the kale salad more so.

Although they are more well known for their cupcakes, I prefer their tarts. Hidden beneath this plain looking chocolate tart reveals a thick gooey layer of salted caramel that gives the sweetness a good balance.
