Lava Cake
3.5⭐️
($10 before Gst)
Lava cake is served with vanilla Ice cream and strawberry at the top. The overflowing of hot chocolate lava in the thin layer of cake with the ice cream is really well balance. Nothing could go wrong in this dish. Ice cream is just a normal vanilla ice cream.
Apple Crumble
2.5⭐️
($8 before Gst)
Same as the lava cake, the apple crumble is served with vanilla Ice cream and strawberry at the top. Ice cream is the same too, normal. Apple crumble top bits is good however, the filling inside was underwhelming. The filling consists of a very small slab of apple puree without any apples in it. Will choose the lava cake instead.

Pizza contains chicken tikka, onions, capsicums, mozzarella cheese and tomato cashew nut base. The chicken was a little dry probably because of the lack of sauce base but it is still well seasoned. The pizza was loaded with cheese that complemented the pizza well. However for the crust, Im not sure is it home made, the texture is thin and crispy. Would be good if more sauce was added.

Carbonara is served with linguine pasta, cream based sauce and smoked duck. The smoke duck does not have the overwhelming saltiness which goes well with the carbonara. But eating half of the meal, gets too ‘Jelak’ as the sauce is quite thick.

($24 before GST)-beef
($22 before GST)-pork
Fajitas is served with some lettuce, side condiments (guacamole, salsa, Monterey jack cheese & sour cream) and the choice of your the meat. Ordered 2 Fajitas, beef and pork, the beef is quite chewy and pork is more well seasoned. Both meat ordered goes very well with the tortilla wrap and the side condiments.
This is a DIY meal and the side condiments given were too less for 2 tortilla wraps. Still a good meal.
disappointing... expected fajitas ($22) to be the one good dish but everything is way overpriced and bland, only good thing is portions are big (but you wont want to eat it lol). not worth it even with burpple 1 for 1. my friend ordered a pizza ($20+) and she got sick of it after 2 slices. ice lemon tea ($4) was so diluted and bland. the lava cake looked and tasted like one of those instant made lava cakes you heat up in a microwave, but it was alright; and ice cream was the only good dish.
This is one of the best hidden jewels in the West. Inside of NTU, this restaurant offers value for money set lunches with a good selection of Mains. @$16++ you get a soup/salad, a main and a dessert.
I ordered their soup of day and strip loin, medium. The soup of day was corn soup. A bit sweet for my liking. The steak was done perfectly and it came with frites and salad. There is no choice for sauce though, you get a small pitcher of BBQ sauce.
Dessert was a small slice of chocolate brownie. Very rich chocolate taste is all I am going to say.
Did I mention this is actually a Mexican Restaurant. So yes, I guess I’ll have to come back one of these evenings and their Fajitas.
