Paprika wings (5pcs) @ $9

Tastes not bad and the wings are quite tender and juicy. But can't really taste the paprika flavour.

This is a side dish but it costs the same as the main...

Carbonara @ $9.90

Not bad for the price and it's quite creamy. Would prefer to have it with linguine but out of stock on the day we went.

Bacon aglio olio @ $8.90

I guess it's okay for the price, the taste is okay but the pasta is way too dry which makes the texture rather too chewy.

Probably will try other pastas or pizza next time.

Pasta loft is serious a hidden gem of a shop.

So far I have been here twice and both times, their pasta was very good.

When this plate of truffle Al Funghi was placed on my table, immediately, the smell of truffle just hit my nostrils.

The linguine was el dente and was drenched in truffle cream sauce. Every bite has a taste of truffle.

My only complaint is that its only sold in 1 size. Can't upsize, this plate not enough for me, I want more.

My First time eating here.

You can choose your pasta between linguine, spaghetti or fusilli.

Decided to order the tom yam seafood spaghetti as I am always a sucker for Tom Yam.

It was quite good. Seafood was fresh and the Tom yam cream sauce was good and was not very spicy.

I will come back again to try their chicken masala pasta, one of their chef recommendation here, which was sold out when I came earlier.

Pasta tends to be a simple dish, which leaves it entirely up to the quality of the ingredients & the chef to make or break it. Over at @gastronomickitchen, they got both aspects amply covered, which is why it’s become my go to spot for bargain pastas done right.⠀

While the white wine mussel pot ($8.90 nett) could benefit from stronger seasoning, the fresh mollusks themselves were flawless. Thoroughly cleaned, these sizeable shellfish were pleasantly perfumed with the fragrance of white wine & garlic & cooked to tender perfection. Delicious, and a side dish made for sharing. Pasta Loft serve these pleasantly piquant pastas on the (almost) daily, and they won’t break the bank too. What more can a broke man want?
