Pasta & Co.

We tried this Mentaiko pasta today at Pasta & Co. It was pretty good! The seared scallops were good as well! Would definitely come back and try the others.

Ordered mentaiko and ragu pasta, both full portion . Doesn’t seem like there’s a lot also haha but
Both were tasty
Truffle fries was meh
Cold Brew tea was carbonated :( Would appreciate if it was stated in the menu HAHA… cos i don’t like carbonated drinks and there’s were anyother non carbonated drinks in the menu except water or wine…

Typical of fortune center, some seats in a separate area from the store. My friend and I ordered the Vongole Rigatoni and Ragu Fusilli using the 1-for-1 coupon.

Tasting sized portion was small but staff was very transparent about it and showed us the pasta portion beforehand. Suggest to upgrade both to full sized, looks pretty value for money as well. (Picture is tasting portion)

You can choose the type of pasta you want. Pasta itself is a little lacking in salt but the flavour of the sauce is pretty good. Would choose the pastas that have more surface area for the sauce in the future.

Decent pasta experience with the 1-1 burpple deal. Appreciative that staff took time to explain the different pasta type, what’s included in burpple beyond and how it work (as the deal is for tasting portion but we can opt for full portion but the “free” item will be based on the price of tasting). Tried the mentaiko scallop and ragu. While the ragu is a bit tough for our liking, it’s flavourful. Will visit again.

Started with their calamari. Nice crispy skin with a juicy sotong inside! Many places’ calamari is tough to the bite, but this place get their calamari done right!

Shared a Pasta Alla Volka (with Squid Ink Pasta) with my girl and we loved it. Sauce is slightly spicy and flavourful. We both enjoy tomato-based sauce more! Pasta also nicely done.

We also had Ragu (with Pumpkin Rigatoni) and this sauce is creamier but good. The beef chunks are surprisingly tender! And a generous amount too! I also like the 2 pieces of deep fried onion chunks for that crispy texture change-up. Their rigatoni is cooked to al dente so this is a tad hard. So if you like your pasta not al dente then maybe you should skip this rigatoni.

We will return if we’re in the area!

This was one of their most popular menu. The mentaiko sauce was not too thick so it wasnt too jelak! Loved the seared scallops and green tobiko as well. Beetroot fusili was a good choice to hold lots of mentaiko sauce.

Burpple 1-for-1 applies to the tasting portion but we topped up to get the full portion which was just nice :)
