visited specially for the saffron cream stracci pasta, while the handcrafted pasta dish was flavourful & unique, the vongole pasta was average - imo slightly overpriced for the portion, ambience & service.

Handcrafted stracci pasta with seafood
A stunning plate of pasta, featuring dainty sheets majestically slicked with saffron gold — this glistening 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗶 𝗔𝗶 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗶 𝗘 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲 ($28) is probably one of their most popular items.
Just as the sauce's tantalising saffron-infused hue hints at, this was liquid gold. A truly luxuriating cream sauce injected with the richness of prawns, scallops, and green peppercorn.
One might be wary of how tediously heavy such a combination might turn out, but it was well balanced with just the right amount of creaminess and robust depth to be enjoyable. My chief complaint though, was with the sheets of stracci — unfortunately a tad too soggy but still pretty enjoyable as a whole.

An innovative take on the beef ravioli - fried and served with dipping sauce. DELICIOUS! 😋
Looks deceptively plain but tastes heavenly. Been on the hunt for beef ravioli in Singapore and first tried this in the Craig Road restaurant in 2020. Tried it again in Oct 2021 and still tastes as good!
One of the oldest Italian restaurants in Singapore, peep their second outlet housed within The Scarlet Singapore along Erskine Road for homemade pastas and traditional Italian dishes. With their Burpple Set Lunch ($45), bring along a friend and tuck into their crowd favourite Stracci Ai Gamberi E Capesante ($28), which sees handmade fresh pasta with scallops, prawns, green peppercorn in saffron cream sauce, and cheesy Ravioli Con Carne Di Manzo Al Gorgonzola ($27.80). Complete the set lunch with a choice of soup — chef's special Lobster Bisque, Cream of Mushroom or Fresh Tuscany Mixed Vegetables Soup, and a choice fo non-alcholic drink.
