Hands down on of the best soft serves I’ve had in Singapore... the consistency and flavour is on point and I love the grated coconut and the gula melaka syrup that they finish it with. The jelly was slightly frozen if there was any down points to it, but a really good cup to share as it’s pretty big!

Durian Chendol ($8)
Durian and Chendol is like a match made in heaven and, things are made even better with the insanely smooth texture of the softserve drizzled with copious amounts of gula melaka. I am extremely late to the party but I’m so glad to have jumped on the bandwagon. Whilst the serving is ginormous and the softserve leaning more towards the dense side, I must confess I have no issues finishing the entire cup all by myself. Will definitely be running back for more soon! Btw, the seasonal flavour is the red velvet!

Remember when 7-11 has their chendol ice cream 🍦 flavor? This exacly reminds me of that.

Guess what's better than chendol on a scorching day? Chendol ice cream! Head on down to this Muslim-owned takeaway stand for a taste of the creamy and smooth Chendol Soft Serve ($6). It bears an uncanny resemblance to 7-Eleven's Mr Softee chendol ice cream, except it's made better with green worm pandan jelly and generous lashes of gula Melaka syrup. Pro tip: Chendol purists may balk at the idea, but durian lovers should consider adding on the durian topping ($1). According to durian-loving Burpple Tastemaker Jonathan Wong, it elevates the chendol soft serve from tasty to amazing. The store only churns out a limited amount of chendol soft serve a day, so head down early.

Smooth milky softserve drizzled with gulamelaka and topped with coconut shavings.
Now run me over when the weather is humid.

| Flavour of the week: Cotton Candy Softserve 🍭

Unfortunately the soft serve didn't taste much like anything, it just took on the fruity flavour of the crunchy pebbles.

Standard Chendol (S$6)
Soft serve 🍦 with coconut flakes, pandan jelly strips and gula melaka syrup.

The special flavour of the week - Thai Milk Tea wasn't available when I dropped by last week. So struck with the original.

This chendol ice cream soft serve, is extremely soft, and so comforting. Dusted with coconut shreds and coated with Gula Melaka, this chendol ice cream, screams power!

The only other time I had chendol soft serve was from 7/11 eons ago (crap I might have just revealed how ancient I am) and this blows it out of the water. I had the normal chendol 🍦previously and that was already so good to begin with. If you enjoy the taste of durian, the durian topping will bring a smile to your face. #burpple #overrunsg

When you have objects in the foreground and background of the same color, the portrait mode on the iPhone 7+ will mostly likely mess up, as you can see with the spoon being 'bokeh-ed' out too.

Queued for at least 10 mins before getting this durian chendol softserve ($7)

And it was great. I love that it successfully Incorporated the flavours of chendol into an ice cream concoction, though they could have been more generous with their ingredients. The durian was fresh, and had a very sweet note to it, which sort of overpowered the entire dish. Being the durian lover that I am, I did not complain. But if you're a chendol purist, give the durian version a miss.

I highly recommend you to share this as it does get a little jelat after a few mouthfuls.

First time trying chendol and I'm still v underwhelmed buy and aconfused about the flavor? It was a good refresher for a saturday afternoon though😅 probably would only go back to try their other flavors! (6/10)

A quick indulgence and escape from the blazing sun in the afternoon, Overrun got just the thing to cool you down. Creamy and smooth, their "Standard Chendol" ($6) was such a treat. With the delicate fragrance of pandan from the green worm-like jellies, all I needed was more of that gooey gula melaka and coconut shavings to complement the luscious swirls.

The intense pungent durian took over the entire taste of this dessert and I can't taste the sweet Gula Melaka and chendol flavour. Hmmm maybe can try without the durian? $7 for durian, $6 without durian

Finally got to try Overrun's chendol softserve! Soooo good but so sinful – you definitely want to share this too, it was freakin' massive! 😍

You can also get a durian version if everyone in your group is willing (will having that next time!). Do note that they don't have seating and it's more of a takeaway concept. 🏃

Lusciously thick and creamy, the not-too-sweet soft serve of the "Standard Chendol" ($6) which comes drizzled with gula melaka and sprinkled with coconut flakes, was an instant hit with us. It's imperative that you eat it instantly too as it melts very fast.
