Back at Oven & Fried Chicken and once again fell in love with their dishes!

The Yangnyeom Fried Chicken ($23 for 7 pieces) was definitely the crowd favourite. Still crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, each piece was covered in a sweet savoury sauce that is addictive.

Jjampoong Tang ($35) was worthy dish to get! The spicy seafood soup had a rich seafood stock and wasn't too spicy. Packed full of ingredients, it was very comforting.

Pajeon ($25) was surprisingly crispy while being fluffy on the inside. With the soy sauce and some sliced chilli, this really gets addictive too.

Baked Crunch Chicken ($20 for 7 pieces) - definitely tasted healthy, but although the meat is tender and juicy within, I still prefer the original fried chicken due to its light and extremely crispy batter.

Definitely coming back!

3.5⭐ Walked past Oven and Fried Chicken at Bukit Timah ytd and checked that they have an outlet at Telok Ayer too. Came here for 2nd round of dinner. Ordered the half fried mixture which has 7 pieces. Chicken is quite crispy and not very oily. But the service here can be improve.

Our favourite korean fried chicken in Singapore has got to be the ones from Oven & Fried Chicken. They do their classic flavours like Original and Soy sauce really well🍗! We love that the chicken was super crispy, even when coated with the sauce, and juicy on the inside😲. Their other options, like crunch chicken (without oil) surprised us as well, by being super tender and juicy😍. Really damn shiok with a can of refreshing coke or beer!!🍻

Boneless half chicken | $25

It was incredibly, incredibly addictive! It amazes me how the batter remained crispy after 1hr, despite being generously drizzled with sweet spicy sauce. Of course, fried chicken is a must order (not oven baked please...)

👆🏻the above proved too many for 2 ladies. Unless you’re a huge eater, perhaps it’ll be great to bring someone else along!

No fried chicken has beaten yard bird so far but this one is a comfortable 2nd. The fried chicken was better compared to the oven fried one in my opinion

The original oven fried chicken is very special. It doesn't look good but it's amazing how the skin is still crispy and the meat wasn't too dry.

Sorry for the overly orange pics as the lighting was hmmm cozy and warm lol.

We tried the fish egg soup, Yangnyeom chicken, original oven fried chicken, mixed pancakes and jeju beer! 🥰

The fish egg soup is an acquired taste haha. The texture of the fish egg itself is a bit like egg yolk but more rubbery and doesn't disintegrate easily. Soup is alright.

Must try the Yangnyeom fried chicken! Love the sauce, the Crispy skin and tender meat inside.

One of the best fried chicken in Singapore. The oven baked version is crunchier and more fragrant than their fried counterpart. Definitely get this when you are here.

One of the few Korean fried chicken places in SG that actually nails it. Their oven baked chicken is fantastic, but the yang nyeom sauce provides a good alternative with a nice added spicy kick.

Second time trying this and first time at the actual shop but it’s a small cosy Korean-ish vibe rly felt like I was overseas n ofc the convos w ppl that night damn hilarious so ++ points for company luh :-) Tried the spicy kfc (not as spicy as we thought but still packs a punch), sauced soy kfc, seafood pancake (me likely) & army stew. All were pretty solidos n tasty af!

Price was ~$20++ for half chicken (~8-10 pieces of meat depending on type - boneless, wings, mix). Decent fried chicken with complimentary mustard mayo sauce (?) and pickled radish. We also got the seafood pancake ($25++) which was underwhelming - should have just gotten another basket of fried chickens 😖 service was prompt and great ambience to chill out with friends!

Yummy curry rice! big portion and the savory fried chicken so delicious . Great lunch to dine in with a group of friends or family!

📍Telok Ayer (pretty sure it’s accessible by other nearby Mrts too actually)

U know when you’re watching a kdrama and suddenly the characters start eating fried chicken on the roof or smth and u get so hungry? But you’re also sick of kfc.

Just. SO GOOD!!! They have chicken cooked in a variety of methods — Roasted, Crunch (Without oil) and Fried.

They also have different seasonings, like original, yang nyeom (with korean spicy sauce), and soy sauce.

Go with a big group of friends and order lots to share 😛 and maybe order soju for the ~mood~ HAHA
