Decent bkt, peppery soup base, but not tt spicy, felt that the peppery taste/spice could be stronger
Braised items were good, intestines and beancurd were were well braised, goes along well with rice

Came by for a team lunch and this is aparently a really popular old-school bak kut teh joint among my older colleagues. Really bustling with the weekday office lunch crowd and we were lucky to find an empty table almost immediately, though the food took some time to arrive (~10min). Their rendition of BKT would be up your alley if your preference leaned towards the peppery side - this was one of the most peppery BKT I'd ever tried! The portion of bak kut was generous and I enjoyed the lean version moreso than the fattier (you have the option to top up a small price for the fattier meat). Overall, a satisfying bowl especially on a cold rainy day.
Impressed by how quickly they'd notice your soup level and would always continue refilling your soup, until you tell them to stop. This place is defo for those who love peppery bkt, and the youtiao was prob the star of the meal 🤭.
Tbh tasted more like a fishcake than a ngoh hiang - this was just okok for me.
My must-get with BKT, and this one here was crispy! It was really well-enjoyed we ordered 2 bowls of this hahahaa. I really loved pairing it with the peppery soup, or to even have it on its own when it's crispy.
Their BKT here is a pretty peppery one, but the pork was kinda dry sadly. Still, we enjoyed the soup which pairs really well with youtiao.
