Part of lunch course for 2 pax ($38++). The bowls were nothing to shout about. Quite filling by the time the rice bowls arrived. On hindsight, should have ordered the cold soba/udon instead

Part of lunch course for 2 pax ($38++). This was a great choice. Chicken was juicy and the egg salad (though quite little) was well done. Wiped the plate clean

Part of the lunch course for 2 pax ($38++). The salmon was way too saltish and very much preferred the kelp. Should have kept the salt to the minimum and let the salmon meat shine through.

Part of the lunch course for 2 pax ($38++). This is honestly hands down the star of the whole meal. Beef was tender and the pork belly was juicy. Place a bit of wasabi onto the meat and you are on the way to pure bliss. The wasabi is also of great quality especially when you don't feel that qiang feeling that goes straight to the head. Good stuff.

Part of the lunch course for 2 pax ($38++). The chawanmushi portion was so tiny but so good! They did the egg justice. Wish that it was 3x the size so that I could enjoy more of it. The green tea deserves praise as well when you can smell and taste the roasted-ness.

This pork wasn't just the best thing here, it's one of the greatest pork I've eaten. They use Yongenton pork. Whatever that is, it's my new favourite. It wasn't just the smokiness, it's also very pungent, which is how I like my pig. Fyi the hot plate is hot enough to continue cooking so watch your beef. However I didn't notice a difference between the rare and the done. In fact the beef was ordinary.
