I just order classic B.E.C ($12) from onalu again but different flavour for bagel 😅 but the original taste more bread texture compared to sesame taste taste more nutty.

A traditional English breakfast packed into the goodness of a cheese bagel. Bacon and cheese bagel were slightly salty and on the heavier side but it was balanced out perfectly by the maple aioli. Perfect to share between 2. Also got the Iced Sweet Tangerine ($5) to wash it down but it's not worth it just drink water.

Really enjoyed their soft sesame bagel ($12) tbh but giving strong smell for sesame. Bacon. Egg. Cheese is best of best combination for bagel tbh. They almost unable to wrap it up for bagel as the proportion is slightly off and not balanced it off.

really wanted to try bagels so we popped by onalu at smu for a try! we got:
- b.e.c. (bacon egg cheese) $11
- honey lavender tea (iced) $4, +$0.50 for iced

(not in frame but he got these:
- something fishy $12
- hot choco $5)

for my first bagel try i think it was p decent! i liked the classic combination of bacon and scrambled eggs~ there was also quite a lot of bacon which surprised me! i chose cheese bagels which kind of ruined it tho… it made it taste rlly jelak 😭 think it would’ve been nicer with sesame bagels!

the honey lavender tea was a tad underwhelming (for me ah) but idk what i was expecting also… it just tastes like honey tea with a strong lavender taste lol but i imagine it would be good to drink while studying!

overall might come back when i’m in the area to try the sweet bagels next time!

classic b.e.c. charcoal bagel $11
something fishy charcoal bagel $12

went during lunch time and crowd was ok

also whats the proper way to eat a bagel??? we dk so we ended up in a mess (unless this is the correct way) esp the classic bec haha. egg was dripping everywhere lol when we were trying to remove the wrapper. so many eggs massacred just to get massacred by the eggs

generous serving of salmon in something fishy! yums

i think the only other downside is the bagel wasnt rly cut evenly 😩 otherwise it’s p good and one of the cheaper options out there (??)! haha

I usually stick my nose up at vegetarian options but this really blew my socks off. The portabello mushroom was incredibly juicy and the caramelised onions naturally sweet. What was especially of note was how the flavourful garlic aioli tied everything together beautifully. What a surprise hit!
