Original Kolomee
S$7 for premium version

If want broth need to Topup $0.50

I wasn’t know about this place until seeing them on social media recently. Apparently they have been there for few years.

Located in a very small corner coffee shop under HDB in Yishun, near to industrial area.

Serving from early morning till afternoon, they have a few option of kolo mee such as this one that use red sauce.

For $4, you could get a decent bowl without much ingredients except the minced meat. Prefect if you want some light meal that wasn’t too heavy for breakfast.

Kolomee makes for a great breakfast! The wriggly noodles are a nice change from the usual meekia/meepok that we are used too. Their texture is a lot softer/doughy, but it still has a nice bite. The dark soy flavour is my favourite as it adds a nice sweetness to the noodles. Although it already comes topped generously with lots of minced meat, indulge and add char siu and wanton to complete the dish!

Delicious char siew sauce.

Price: $4, $5 and $6.50(Premium).

Premium just more meat.

Take note: it open on sunday even though it show sunday is close

Ha..! Noodles were serve fast. I chose the salty flavor as its most likely their signature dish. This seems to be the no frills version.. Jus noodles, condiments and mince meat.. No wanton, char Siew or soup also.. Noodles fragrant but slightly wet for me.. Although it's tasty, I wish they come with added ingredients..or else it gets bored after a while... 7.8/10😑

Had bookmarked this place for quite a while and thought it would be nice to drop by for some Kolo Mee. Unlike the usual egg noodles of wanton mee, Kolo Mee is meant to carry a softer and chewy texture in comparison, and the noodles here do indeed replicate that without feeling mushy. Tossed in shallot oil, it comes pretty umami even though looking a tad plain and even more flavoursome when you mix in both the minced meat and the chili flakes that gives it a piquant spiciness. Wantons were plump and well stuffed with meat so everything is pretty quite in point on this bowl. Not sure how does this fare over Jia Xiang Sarawak Kolo Noodles, but I would reckon that it's worth trying if you love Kolo Noodles for I have no regrets making my way down for this.
