Part of the Artisan Drinks menu which are special concoctions of drinks available at Nom Nom. The former is described to be a "refreshing lemonade unlike any other"; found the Dark Side of the Lemon a pretty good thirst quencher but a little remote from the lemonade it is described to be — it carries a popcorn-esque sweetness that was honestly rather appealing, but lack any evident tart, zingy notes that would draw a relation to lemonade. The latter is said to be more adventurous (the sort of thing you either love or hate), and would hit particularly well with smokers. Again, this seemingly lacks the tanginess of Tom Yum but it does carry a husky, smoky flavour with a refreshing, minty finish (or is it supposed to replicate smoking while having Tom Yum; I will never know). Pretty unique concoctions with a character, though the flavours seem to stray a bit off from what they are inspired by.

Rainbow cakes are apparently still a thing these days, and it is worth noting that Nom Nom's version comes with natural flavours (yes, none of those artificial colouring here) with blueberries, matcha, tomato, citrus zest, lemons and beetroot being used for the different layers of the cake while frosted with yogurt-infused cream cheese. The flavours do not exactly pull through when one attempts to eat all the layers at one go, but each does pair a light flavour of their own when had layer by layer; some of which stronger than others. All Natural Rainbow is also notably lighter and fluffier than the Tiramisu and also pretty moist; would prefer this to the Tiramisu. The Pandan ice-cream that comes on the side was however pretty neon-green; felt a little generic in flavour while the toppings of finely-chopped nuts and other stuff just created a rather off, gritty texture when had together with the ice cream — could probably do with larger chunks of the same toppings for a clearer distinction that would help to create the contrast.

From Nom Nom at MacPherson Lane, a newly-opened cafe situated beside Pasta King (or near Alfero Gelato if you prefer) that serves mix-and-match plates for mains — patrons choose a base, select a free topping, pick their proteins and select their greens and then opt if they wish to go for extra toppings.

The Cauliflower Rice is a great option for those that are looking for a healthier option; it is distinctively cauliflower taste-wise but carries a texture similar to quinoa; pairs pretty well with proteins for something light. The smoked and spiced Norwegian salmon was flavourful on its own, though the scales could have been removed more throughly and would be better overall if they could retain its juices by being more moist. While being pretty pedestrian, the spicy Hungarian Mangalican Sausage would appeal to those who just like cured meat in general; it's carries the texture of processed cured meats but the spiciness does come through being pretty mildly so. Lotus Root Salted Egg was another crowd pleaser; the salted egg pulls through nicely without being overly creamy — done the "dry" way, it was not overwhelming and came with crisp curry leaves while the lotus root chips do come reasonably crisp. Overall, a plate that is of reasonable quality.

Overall the Tiramisu is decent taste-wise but I would definitely have preferred it if the coffee could be a little stronger (that is despite the cake being baked with cold brew). Texturally, the Tiramisu felt a little dry, lacking the moistness especially in the middle where there is generally an expectation of a coffee-soaked sponge. We also opted for the Mascarpone ice-cream; the flavour was said to be made to be less jelak and seemed to carried a hint of rum-like flavour for its finish.

PS: if upping your Instagram game is a must, opt for a scoop of ice-cream on the side; it comes in a bowl that is made to look like a frog that is definitely great for photos.
