Noi's Mushroom Minced Meat Noodles

When it arrived I went wow. Three meatballs, lots of shiitake mushrooms, fried sole and even prawns! Then they collected $5. Seems like that's the base price. $5 noodle at a kopitiam.

The bak chor mee hunter in me returned for the weekend. Few years back I have visited this place many times to find it closed. Finally I made it just on time and this became my new favorite bak chor mee place to go. A tad pricey at a base price of $5, it was worth its cost. 3 pieces of shrimps, 3 meatballs, at least 12 slices of mushroom, one chunk of veggie, super tender minced pork with 2 pieces of flatfish. The mee pok was al dente and there is even a small pond of vinegar (for vinegar lovers). The chili was well balanced not lacking of spice and not that oily. Haven't found such a gem in a while, opened daily(closed on mondays) till 2pm. Yumzzzzz

But the Stall Name has Changed. But Everyone Remember as Jalan Datoh Bak Chor Mee. This Bak Chor Mee I can say is The Vinegars has its kick on the noodle. I understand Why Many people why come here for Breakfast ? U can Order Dry or Soup Version. I am dissappointed with the soup because it is very bland guess I came super early with my parents for breakfast. It doesn"t have the pork soup base. If came ard late morning the soup taste better. Overall The Noodle is Generally Alright. Come Early the Stall will closed around noon or earlier.

They served one of Singapore best Bak Chor Mee. For those who are not a fan of a strong vinegar taste, this is the stall for you. Personally I love their earthy mushroom based sauce, go perfectly with the noodle. Next time I am going order the S$4dollars one. .
