Had a nice & relaxed hi-tea combo of both savory & sweet stuffs. Nice view but with so-so kinda of ambience.

The sweet plate. My favourite would be their espresso dessert! I love the mochi too that I even asked if they have a take away for the mochi on ala carte menu!

Have you tried Japanese high tea set? If you've not, it's time to put your typical English afternoon aside and go for this! Their savoury set is one of a kind! Love it!

On occasions that you're looking to splurge on your special someone, take them to Nobu on the 56th level of Petronas Tower. Innovative Japanese eats and an impressive view of KL city are but a few things worth a mention here. Go for their Five-Course Omakase, which will set you back RM285 per person for a fancy treat. Omakase, meaning 'to entrust' in Japanese, allows the chef to design your meal as he sees fit and here, it is done exceptionally well. Think along the lines of white fish in lemon yuzu sauce and a medium rare grilled beef tenderloin or wagyu beef with ginger miso — all part of the cold and hot dishes which are followed aptly by a course of decadent dessert.

Dining on the 56th floor with the view of a beautiful sunset overlooking KL City, everything from the ambience to service were top-notch and extremely welcoming. A bottle of Fiji still water for RM28, sparkling water for RM38 or an array of Sake and drinks from their beverage menu, that’s where you’ll kick start your feast.

Omasake is a Japanese term that means "to entrust,” therefore the dishes served were all by the chef’s choice, and that’s what I had that night. For RM285, I had a five-course Omasake set that consists of two cold dishes, two hot dishes and one dessert.

The first dish was White Fish in lemon yuzu sauce with condiments like coriander and chili to neutralise the sourness of the lemon. The second dish was three slices of Seared Tuna with a side of Chef Matsuhisa’s special dressing. I don't usually consume fish but these two appetisers gave myself a surprise at how much I enjoyed them.

A bowl of deep fried Tiger Prawns (not pictured) came for the next dish and what brought it to life was the Ponzu sauce that was drizzled over it. The main course of the night was Grilled Beef Tenderloin cooked to medium rare which was exactly to my preference, it came with some grilled vegetables on the side as well as three different dipping sauces to enhance your taste buds.

The last dish was no other than dessert, a plate that consists of a doughnut on a stick and albeit on a small portion, it was just right as it has melted dark chocolate on the inside. There’s also a scoop of pandan ice-cream and some pistachio nuts on the side that ties the trinity together.

Had a chance to experience the 5 Course Omasake by Chef Matsuhisa at Nobu Kuala Lumpur with a beautiful view of KL Tower and KL skyline. The Courses consists of 2 Cold 2 Hot and 1 dessert. Start with appetizer, it's three pcs of white fish, lemon yuzu sauce, corriander with cucumber, which taste sour but the yuzu sauce damn good. Move to 2nd course is Tiger shrimp tempura with ponzu sauce, chives and salad at the bottom. Somehow the taste it's just like normal fried shrimp la, nothing really special about it. The next is Seared Tuna with Sashimi Salad, sesame oil and Matsuhisa Dressing. The one that make it delicious beside the very soft Tuna is that Matsuhisa Dressing which compliment each other. For me, 4th course is the highlight of the evening. It's a Grilled Beef Tenderlion with Shimeji Mushroom and My one is just Medium Rare and it's so juicy and so tender. It comes with three sauces. Normal Teriyaki Sauce, Chili Sauce, and Rokotomiso Sauce which is the best among all. The 5th course is the Dessert. It's a doughnut with Dark Chocolate filling, surround with Pistachio and served with Pandan Ice Cream. The plating is very nice tho. Their service is very nice which match the location itself. 56th floor with its own lift. Overall, for RM280, it's worth once in a blue moon.
