☕ Tiramisu
📍NestCha (@nestcha.sg)
📌 Haji Lane
💰 $12.90

Tiramisu aint a new dessert, but NestCha does it pretty well. Theirs is infused with alcohol and has a strong, fragrant coffee aroma.

The cake is soft and the cream is smooth and luscious. Size-wise, its not super big and a bit pricey for $12.90, but its a really good tiramisu!

Nestcha specialises in beverages that have birdnest, peach gum, and hand pounded honey lemon tea! They also have freshly made cake box for dessert as well! If you are a mochi fan, this is the place to come as well!

Featured here are the following items:

Mango Pomelo Bird's Nest ($12.90): Super tasty drink! This is not your usual mango pomelo sago, as other than the usual ingredients, it comes topped with birdnest as well as pudding! Lots to eat in every mouthful!

Orange Camellia Tea ($5.90): If you prefer something lighter, check out their ROCK THE HONEY LEMON TEA series! The drinks under this series are hand pounded, which really brings out the taste! Thirst quenching and super refreshing!

💜Yam Chicken Floss Mochi Cake ($9.90): I super love this! It was presented in a very bright purple colour! The cake layers were soft and moist. In the middle of the cake layers is savoury chicken floss with crispy crunchy seaweed! For the top layer, it is covered in taro orh nee and a qq chewy mochi! I enjoyed this so much!

Sea Salt Soya Mochi Cake ($9.90): This is similar to the yam chicken floss mochi cake, but instead of being taro yam themed, it is a salty sweet combination! ⁣

PROMOTION ALERT: Every wednesday, members get to enjoy 50% off selected cakes if you join their free membership! For the up coming weeks, Sea salt Soya Mo chi will be on 50% discount on 15 March, and for 22 and 29 March 2023, it wll be the Tiramisu!

🍰 Chicken Floss Lava Cake
📍Nestcha (@nestcha.sg)
📌 Haji Lane
💰 2 for $8.50

Chicken floss cakes are probably some of the most delicious creations on the planet. NestCha's version of a 肉松小贝 comes filled with soy cream instead of the usual mayonnaise, making it a lighter and "healthier" option.

As with all chicken floss cakes, this is hella good. The cake is soft and sweet while the chicken floss is also sweet, but has a slight savoury element to it, making it more exciting and robust in flavour. The soy cream is light and a little bit sweet too, it complements the cake well without being too overwhelming.

I’ve tried NestCha’s Yam version of this cake and it was pretty great too, generally love NestCha’s unique products!

🎂 Black Sesame Mochi Cake
📍NestCha (@nestcha.sg)
📌 Haji Lane
💰 $9.90

NestCha finally added black sesame to their desserts!!!! Black sesame lovers aint gon be disappointed cuz this cake is nutty and full of that black sesame goodness. The cake is a little tougher cuz they baked black sesame into it, but still nice. The mochi coild have been spread out better, but generally a nice box cake.

🎂 Yam Chicken Floss Mochi Cake
📍NestCha (@nestcha.sg)
📌 Haji Lane
💰 $9.90

NestCha has been one of my fav stores since they opened in Chinatown Point, so its cool to see them expand to a bigger space in Haji Lane! I tried this Yam Chicken Floss Mochi Cake last time when it was packed in a circular container, this time they've really improved the presentation and put it in a box.

The cake is quite spongey and soft, the yam cream tastes natural and not too sweet. Ofc as a slut for floss, I love the floss tho I wish there could have been more. The mochi is put on top of the cake, wish it could have been layered a little better for better dispersion across the cake.

So tasty and def one of my fav snacks.

Was really excited to try the PAPAYA PEACH GUM BIRD’S NEST ($12.90) because BIRD’S NEST⁉️ but I couldn’t taste it at all due to the milky nature of the drink…literal daylight robbery💀💀 I much preferred the PINEAPPLE PHOENIX TEA ($5.90) which was super refreshing & not too sweet🍍🍵 Would return for this!

We also couldn’t resist trying a couple of cakes because they looked so pretty. Though the cakes were too dense, we thoroughly enjoyed the earthy cream on the SEA SALT CARAMEL CHESTNUT CAKE ($10.90) & salty soya cream on the SEA SALT SOYA MACHI CAKE ($9.90) 🍡🍰
