Start off your Sunday with this good brunch dish. Two poached eggs on top of a thick white toast, smoked salmon and hollandaise sauce
Loved the dish - didn’t think it would be filling, but the thick toast, albeit having a slightly tough crust, contributed a lot to it lol
Egg is flowy as how it should be, pairing really nicely with the smoked salmon and the generous hollandaise sauce

nth special bout the matcha, felt like the matcha didn’t blend well with the milk. but, still drinkable. not rly worth for $8++ drink tho. 😶🌫️
The brownie ice cream so good! The brownie is hot + the cold from the ice cream. Amazing
*pardon the unsightly image* it's not that the chicken schnitzel is good that's why you see only a few pieces left. We transferred it to another plate with leftovers...
Organic hot chocolate and americano were good! Could taste the bitter cocoa without having the overwhelming milk taste.
Chicken schnitzel was extremely disappointing. Both the curly fries and chicken were overfried (tasted like refried versions). Could barely taste the potato in the fries, just some crunchy skin and the taste of refry oil. Crust of the chicken was thick and hard, probably due to overfrying.
Big plate was medicro, still a decent breakfast plater.
Ordered a latte, matcha latte and crepe. The crepe was nice and fairly large - good for sharing! It had nutella, pistachio nuts, strawberries and whipped cream. A delicious combination for people with sweet tooth! :P
Egg-galore brunch at @grouptherapycafe 😊
• Skinny Eggs Ben ($17)
Was slightly disappointed by how the toast’s crust was a tad too hard to complement with avocado and salmon, but I must say their food portion were really generous!
• Shepherd’s pie ($15)
Shepherd pie’s were filled with wholesome toppings (cube of minced beef) and highly recommend to share as it would get a little “jelak” for one to consume entirely.
All in all, it was a delightful brunch experience right after having a staycay @ Capri Fraser, situated just a couple of steps away 😊
What an extensive menu and the food was very worth the price! I don’t know what about it but it brought me back to Australia!
Green plate ($19)
A huge spread of egg white frittata and mushrooms with Hollandaise sauce, hash browns, a whole avocado and toast! Added $3 for a generous serving of halloumi cheese. Very satisfying for the price and kept me full the whole day!
Hashbrowns with Smoked Salmon ($17)
Eggs and hashbrown are a good combination. Overall it was quite a fatty dish (the hasnbrowns were quite oily too) that could use a bit of salad to refresh the palate but everything tasted great!
Iced latte for $6.90
Cappuccino for $5.90 - options for plant-based milks at an extra cost and low fat milk (no extra cost for this)
Waffles are pretty decent, haven’t tried it with ice cream though. But I’m pretty sure it’ll be a good pairing. Their scrambled eggs are really good. Well seasoned and buttery! Coffee is good too, but I’ve tried their iced teas too and I think it’s a better pairing.
What we ordered:
Big breakfast, with scrambled eggs and brioche $19
Hashbrown Salmon $17
Eggs benedict $17
Truffle fries
Honey lemon ice tea
Earl grey tea
Stack of pancakes
Berry Lemon Cake $5
Total $101.65
I would totally go back for brunch again. Service was really great, celebrated a friend's birthday there which they accommodated to.
The egg white frittata was a little too salty for me.
The place offering nice mint mocha nearby closes early, and this is a good alternative that opens till later! It is also a nice place to hang till later with indoor and outdoor seatings.
