There's always a long steady queue here at Yi Liu Xiang. I wanted to eat-in but seems like their utensils all used finish, until have to use takeaway packet.

Their chilli is good, the silver fish ikan bills was crispy, but the large piece fish fillet was the star of the show.

It's crispy and flavourful and goes very very well with the chilli.

The fish fillet is a must have. 😋

This entire set is $2.50

Mark this one down for a simple yet hearty breakfast with the fam. The formula is simple — think basic Nasi Lemak Set ($2.50) with deep fried fish fillet, crispy anchovies, fiery chilli paste and a fried omelette to blanket the pandan and coconut-infused bed of rice. Add extra sides like luncheon meat or otah for just a dollar! Convinced? Great, now all you have to do is join the queue.

Very crispy ikan bilis, fiery chillies, coconut cream infused fluffy rice.
Fried fish fillet was carefully thawed then deep fried.
Join the queue, not bad.

People actually wake up early in the morning to come here for their nasi lemak, because you can see a super long queue in front of this store.

The queue really justify how good it was and I totally agree with them. For only $2.50 (add additional ingredients for extra price), I could say this is definitely go into my top place for Nasi Lemak in Singapore.

The rice was so fragrance, even their Ikan Bilis also unique in its way. Their fish fillet was so crispy and delicious. Now I know the reason why people would take time to queue for their Nasi Lemak.

Yi Liu Xiang Nasi Lemak has been a local hidden gem since 1983 - there is forever a queue till sold out early in the morning 🌞 there is no choice of ingredients NOT EVEN EGG🥚only 3 types of standard sets priced at $3😂 their Nasi lemak rice is cooked with the creaminess of the coconut and perfection of warm cooked rice with a signature fragrance😍 paired with their sweet spicy sambal 🌶 which is given in limited portions it’s just so delicious, irresistible bites one spoon after another 🤤 simple but so so good💕 so sad their sides options are so limited - that’s how successful and “don’t give a shit” the stall is becos they are already so so busy😂 do check them out✌️
