I wanted to try kaya flavour at one punggol hawker centre but they didn't opened that early so I managed to buy at hougang kar kang kopitiam. I felt that their mjk was quite cold and probably made for a while. So kaya filling was quite thick and not that sweet but a bit coconut taste.

($2.50) hmmm I managed to try their biscott pancake as previously I didn't have any chance to try it out. So the taste like sweet caramel and nutty? so it's quite slightly sweet for me but it was last piece and need to wait for 10 to 20 mins for new batch.

I waited for 15 mins to get my munchi pancake 👀 but I felt that their matcha filling (UP: $2.20 Fairprice App: $1.98) really waterish and cold like they took it out from fridge to spread on the munchi pancake. But the filling taste really slightly sweet, milky and not much matcha.

A notch higher than your using minjiangkueh, they serve pancakes with modern flavours and the one that struck me was the biscoff. Priced at $2.50 (before Kopitiam payment discount), it may be expensive to some but trust me, it’s totally worth it. The portion was definitely more substantial than the usual traditional ones that are possibly little smaller than half but charged at half price with very pathetic amount of fillings. Munchi’s pancake is thick and with generous fillings that really enhanced the taste and experience!

📍Munchi Pancakes (Fernvale Hawker)
- Original Coconut Pancake🥥
- Charcoal Peanut Pancake🥜
- Green Tea Red Bean Pancake🫘

Prefer the coconut to the peanut to the red bean pancake.

Generous coconut filling, a little sweet though, but is nice. Peanut one is the safe bet, will be perfect if the peanut jam could be thicker. As for the red bean pancake, find it a tad too sweet to my likings.

Damage: $4.50 ($1.50 each)

($1.50) just tried their coconut and not that bad tbh. Freshly grated coconut and not that sweet.
