Café&Meal MUJI (Plaza Singapura)

It is similar to cai fan concept. The rice was very well-cooked and nice. I would prefer to have more hot deli than cold one. For cold deli, the prawns were ok and broccoli was still crunchy. The fruits in the smoked duck salad was sweet. For hot deli, the chicken nanban was crispy.

Decided to try it out for a while with my friend again. Decided to get same for cold deli but hot deli I changed with something new that I felt that it's quite not bad tbh.

First time to try Muji’s katsudon. Freshly cooked and delicious with multigrain rice.

Red shiso soda with lemon slices - this leaned more sweet, but was minty and refreshing, recommended to pair with their Festive Set ($21.80). Added pretty red hues in line with the Christmas vibes!

it’s v light & crispy! a nice snack to share

At first glance, I was quite relieved that the festive cakes here were not overly generous on cream, but I thought that the Strawberry Hokkaido Cheese Roll (S$40.00) was a good call for those who loved Swiss rolls that came with Hokkaido cream cheese and sliced fresh strawberry as its filling.

To give the simple “log cake” a touch of Christmas looks, the restaurant would also throw in some cute decorative edibles upon request and subjected to availability. However, whole cakes would need to be pre-ordered at least 3 days in advance by 20 December 2022.

If a whole cake might be too much for your liking, one could actually get their sliced cakes, which would go at S$8.90 per slice. To me, it was still worth the deal. Who would not like a taste of natural and an experience of simple joy?
