(1 Flame Spicy) ($14.90) it's a long time never eat since 10 years ago ? I didn't know why I didn't eat it frequently in the past? probably too much japanese curry shop opened too much over the period so that's why I didn't really patronise the store after that. I don't know why the plate need to be so big when I eat at there with my friend for first time. I remembered that I didn't mixed their spicy sauce that time but this round of time I did tried it out to mix curry with spicy sauce. It's slightly different taste when I mixed it together. The curry sauce was quite sweet and also not that spicy as usual. But the spicy sauce got a bit spicy "kick" so I felt that it's such a different food taste and meal experience after 10 years later. The pork katsu was quite crispy and crunchy for their outer batter (but i really hate too much batter and fats inside) and also but not too hard and soft for meat slices.
Still our trusty jap curry go-to, as it's portion is huge and the bed of omelette eggs matched with curry and meat just serves. Cheese is a must have for us. ($16.30)
(Ps. We also enjoyed the Tako balls although it isn't the most crispy, but for $3.80 for 6? Yess)
I'm sold when they told me this Seafood Fantasy is in tomato cream and comes with scallops! prawns! and also crabmeat. Absolutely biased towards tomato cream. And for $12.80? Makes a pretty good deal.
Ain't just good for it's curry π
($11.8++)
It's expensive alright but we get the Doraemon Container which is quite nice! It's served inside it so we could eat it on the go but it's troublesome as hell. But the wedges is soooo good, it's crispy and soft on the inside, served with spices that tasted like seaweed spice. We also got the curry mayonaise that really tasted like MonCur's curry sauce!
What I looovvee about this is their wedges served in small bite-size cut instead of the usual big humongous cut so we could enjoy a lots of potato!
Blue calpis soda ($5.9++)
If you ever had calpis then this tastes like one, hahaha. Just a bit more to the sour side and the soda is not as strong. The aftertaste after you mix it is sweet because of the cream on top.
Strong point: it's so cute with Doraemon's color!
Good portion to share with 2 people, very filling & satisfied dinner π The cheese pork katsu was very tender. Canβt take spicy so Level 1 worked well for us. Would definitely visit again!
