Apple Strudel with Vanilla Ice-cream ($13) was never my type of dessert though my girl liked it.
Mushroom Soup ($12) looked rich but sadly had a bland diluted taste.
Linguine Vongole ($25) tasted too βflour-eeβ to me and the requested option of non-spicy by my girl was totally not appealing to my tastebuds.

Thus, it baffles me why they would use a floppy crust to hold it all together. For $28, its approaching the price point of Amo and what was once Mozza. However, the end result is unfortunately, something more pedestrian.

Meat lovers should definitely consider getting the Misto Carne ($28), it comes topped with salami, ham, chicken slices and chunks of peppered sausage. However, for the price you are paying, there are definite better options out there.Β Β Modestoβs has all the elements for a great dining experience but somehow still doesnβt live up to expectations. For a restaurant thatβs charging about $30 for pasta and pizzas, it would do them good to also serve complimentary tap water instead of charging for Dasani mineral water served in plastic bottles.
