Pretty nice view overseeing the floating platform, MBS and the business district but the sun can get too warm as it shines through the window when it begins to set.

Their high tea is at $52 per pax for 15 dainty pieces, mix of sweets and savory and a pot of tea. Top up $16 for a glass of cocktail. Since it’s still the month of February, the high tea set is themed around Chinese New Year, pineapple, orange and more chinese flavors. I like how they started the course with an appetizing and appetite whetting Osmanthus granita with wolfberry infusion. Very chinese flavored and refreshing. My favorites is surprisingly their scones, radish cake and mandarin orange marmalade. Their scones are moist and flavorful. But other than that, some of it is a little dry and the flavors are generally not bright. But good company make up for all 😀

Cocktails are pleasing to the eyes and soothing for the taste. The colourful signature drink Sarimanok did not disappoint. The ambience is good to chill, just a little sad we had to leave by 10.30pm.

A myriad of bite-sized food and pastries as we spend a languid afternoon in one of Asia’s 50 Best Bars!

Comfortable chic lounge, excellent service with a delightful selection of cocktails and tea, it’s one of my favourite Afternoon Tea thus far.

Items are inspired by local favourites like the refreshing palate cleanser of Lemongrass Pineapple Granita with Coconut Kaffir Emulsion or that irresistible Black Truffle Egg Mimosa Kueh Pie Tee and melt in your mouth cheesecake.

P.S: Swipe up the link in my Highlights for their interactive cocktail menu featuring 16 cocktails, including the beautiful Sarimanok.

Rum + chocolate + banana

Not exactly what I was expecting. It was rum on ice in the glass, a banana crisp on top and a touch of chocolate syrup on the rim of the glass on one side. So, I had to drink from the exact spot to ensure I taste all three things. But, effectively it was rum & ice.

Great quality, large size and meaty oysters. They come with 4 condiments but I liked them natural :)

On wed, you can do unlimited Ruinart/cocktails and a dozen oysters per person for $78++

Mo Bar does rather good portion sizes for bar food. Good 7-8 prawns cooked crispy with masala mayo. They've added curry leaves which gives it very local feel. Great to go with your drinks.
