Miracle Coffee probably needs no introduction at this current juncture — we had also previously gave Miracle Coffee a visit when they were still supposedly a pop-up cafe located at the exterior of the ArtScience Museum at Marina Bay Sands. A cafe that is founded by local singer JJ Lin in Taipei, Taiwan, the opening of the pop-up was seen as a little bit of a homecoming for the brand considering how JJ Lin originates from Singapore, though Miracle Coffee was first established in Taiwan instead. The pop-up had since become a permanent feature since December 2023, with Miracle Coffee having moved into the ArtScience Theatre at the very same space that SweetSpot used to be located right after the lift light leading to the basement of ArtScience Museum where the ticketing counter for the museum is also at. Being more of a coffee stand in nature, there are however dine-in seatings located at Miracle Coffee’s permanent location at ArtScience Museum — this would feature a mix of high tables facing the sides of the visitor services counter, as well as communal seating and usual dining tables and chairs; the seating located closer to the counter are low tables featuring low, cushioned stools. Considering how Miracle Coffee adopts a blue colour theme throughout its branding, the entire space features a mix of blue, white and wooden furniture and fittings to align closely with the brand image. Miracle Coffee has expanded their variety of food offerings with the opening of their permanent space; this includes a line-up of ready-made salads and sandwiches that one can also find in the display case at the counter — this would also be alongside a line-up of breads, pastries and cakes which are also stocked up in the display case or above the display case. Beverages served up at Miracle Coffee mostly surround around specialty coffee; available in both espresso-based and pourover formats — patrons being able to choose between different beans for both options. This is not forgetting about their special concoctions such as their Kaya Cloud (which we had previously during the pop-up phase), as well as JJ’s Wonderland (a juice offering) and Miracle Milo amongst many others. There is also a dedicated space retailing Miracle Coffee-branded merchandise beside the counter as well.

Skimming through the display case for the food items available at Miracle Coffee, we were not too keen either the ready-made food items considering the ready-made nature of them, though we do note that they have rather interesting selections such as a Laksa Prawn Sandwich and a Crab Meat Otah Sandwich. It is the line-up of bakes that had caught our attention instead — there seems to be an emphasis at Miracle Coffee to provide for food items on the menu that have a Singaporean twist to it; this is apart from items that carry the cloud branding which Miracle Coffee seems to base quite a number of their items with. Not many specialty cafes would seem themselves offering a pandan chiffon cake on the menu; the only other one that is fairly known would be Necessary Provisions which we absolutely loved ordering when we had frequented their Eng Kong Terrace location. The Kaya Bandung Chiffon Cake definitely caught our attention considering this, and for how it came with hue of green and red that one would associate with the two elements in its namesake. Sinking our fork into the Kaya Bandung Chiffon Cake, the chiffon cake is light, soft and fluffy; one would usually mention that a good chiffon cake tends to spring back when compressed and this was certainly so with the Kaya Bandung Chiffon Cake.

Where the flavours of the cake are of concern, the Kaya Bandung Chiffon Cake felt stronger in the Bandung element at least with the slice that we were served with — this is considering the slice we had does seem to carry a larger proportion of Bandung based on the parts carrying the red hue; the notes of rose syrup mixed with milk providing an evident note that replicates Bandung without being particularly sweet. We also tried the Kopi Choux Puff; aside from the cheesy branding of its logo printed on top of white chocolate, the Kopi Choux does check the right boxes with a crisp pastry that carries a bit of a crunch on the exterior amidst the spongy insides — all that whilst being well-filled with coffee-infused pastry cream that is inspired from Nanyang-style Kopi that carried a robust caffeinated kick without being overly sweet as well. For the Miracle Dream, this is a special concoction that features specialty coffee — think a shot of espresso that is served with coconut water and blue pea-infused syrup. Needless to say, the blue pea-infused syrup does seem to be included for an aesthetic appeal here, though it does provide quite a beautiful look towards the bottom of the glass before one stirs everything in. It is a little sweet for our liking, though we tend to prefer our coffer to come without sugar — felt that the syrup was a little excessive against the proportion of coconut water that came with it that also helps to add a refreshing sweetness to the espresso.

With all being said about Miracle Coffee; while we did appreciate the Singaporean touches that have been added into its offerings, Miracle Coffee does charge a slightly higher prices for its offerings against the usual specialty coffee establishments elsewhere — likely due to both the location that it is being situated in, as well as the entire brand being affiliated to JJ Lin. Prices for their usual espresso-based offerings range around $6.50 starting with the Americano to $8, and the savoury food being priced from $11 to $18. Irregardless, we would think that Miracle Coffee is a spot that would stick around for long in Marina Bay Sands; be it as a resting point for tourists whom are visiting the ArtScience Museum, or for avid JJ Lin fans to drop by just to check out what the concept is all about — all that whilst also being a specialty coffee joint that offers items that represents Singapore well with the flavours introduced wiht its offerings for tourists to enjoy!

My Most to Least Favorite:
Miracle Dream ➣ Miracle Homeground ➣ Miracle Glyph ➣ Miracle Equate

Miracle Dream
Blending the fruity aroma of single origin espresso with refreshing coconut water and tangy lime juice. Complete with bubbles of sparkling water and butterfly blue pea that transitions into a beautiful hue of purple.

Miracle Homeground
Creamy like yoghurt, mango, with a refreshing tart note of yuzu and a lingering dark chocolate finish.

Miracle Glyph
Complementing the coffee with refreshing notes of citrus and pear. With a floral aftertaste of elderflower.

Miracle Equate
Crisp tonic water, delicate chrysanthemum tea, and the bold essence of a nutty cold brew coffee.

You may not in luck to see JJ Lin here, but at least you could grab a decent cup of coffee here.

The long queue has gone, so you could easily grab your coffee on weekends and enjoy the beautiful view of CBD and lily pond here.

For people come for the first time, I definitely recommend their signature Kaya Cloud.

Topped with thick layer of cream with sea salt, which created a rich blend of sweetness to the coffee. So for people who prefer strong taste of coffee might have to avoid this.

📍Miracle Coffee (Pop-up Cafe at MBS)
- Latte☕️

Medium-heavy bodied coffee, and chocolatey finish, not bad at all~ But frankly the latte art needs improvement…

Understand that the pop-up will be up until 29 December 2022, pay it a visit while around the vicinity!

Limited seats, non-aircon setting…

Damage: $6.50

The beverage selection is rather limited with just the JJ’s Wonderblend, Miracle Milo and Brown Sugar Hojicha Latte, including the regular Americano and Latte. Prices are affordable considering it’s located in Marina Bay Sands, and a good spot to rest your legs before you continue your shopping spree.

A signature - Americano with kaya-spiked cream, a touch of sea salt and gula melaka shavings. The cream was absolutely delicious and mildly sweet. I would suggest to slightly shake and let the cream mix with the bitter coffee taste for an all rounded balance drink.
