Kimchi Soup Set (S$19.30++)
Sliced snapper, 1 prawn, clams, 1 minced meat patty, tofu, kimchi in kimchi broth
The broth was not spicy and tasted quite creamy.
Served with a choice of rice or noodles which I selected brown rice and a choice of drink which selected Tomato Plum Soda. Don’t forget to eat the sweet tomato in the drink.
Accompanied with chilli sauce, chopped spring onion, sliced chilli padi
The set also came with marinated chilled tomatoes (3pcs), and oriental salad in special vinegar dressing.

Had the combo for 2 which consist of:

2 milkfish soups
1 grilled milkfish belly
1 oriental salad in vinegar dressing
4 pcs deep fried prawn roll
6 pcs marinated chilled tomatoes
2 choice of rice/noodles

Fish soup was good, flavourful, and fish and seafood was fresh. Love the minced meat patty. Goes very well when mixed with the chilli padi.

The Grilled milkfish belly though, was the star of dinner for me. Meat was silky smooth. Grilled to perfection.

Will return again for the Grilled fish.

This is my first visit to Milkfish and I had the Grilled Fish Set ($25.80) which came with grilled milkfish belly (you can also opt for grilled salmon fillet), tofu and vegetable soup, rice/noodles of your choice, 2 sides (marinated chilled tomatoes and oriental salad) and a drink.

The grilled milkfish belly is glazed in a savoury sauce and super soft. The fats from the milkfish belly might be a little overwhelming for some, but the lemon juice, tangy chilli sauce and sweet marinated tomatoes help to balance it out. I like that there are 7 types of rice/noodles to choose from and the multigrain rice went well with the milkfish belly. The oriental salad is similar to Din Tai Feng’s 小菜 and is quite nice too. However, the Tomato Plum Soda is very salty - would definitely recommend their ice tea instead!

Overall, even though this set is quite pricey, the grilled milkfish belly is tasty and did not disappoint. Enjoyed this!

Ordered the combo for 2 ($44) comes with soup, noodle, grilled milkfish belly, salad, chilled marinated chery tomatoes and deep fried prawn rolls. I read a lot of good reviews but was very disappointed. The soup was normal. The fish had a fishy taste. The fried prawn rolls were big but i dont think there were prawns. I will not come back again.

4⭐ WB suggested hotpot but I counteroffer Milkfish instead. We have walked passed their outlet at Millenia walk and always see it's fully occupied so decided to give it a try at the Raffles City outlet. We reached early around 5.30pm and it's already full house, waited for abt 10-15min. WB suggested ordering the combo set which includes 2 soup, grilled milkfish belly, 4 prawn roll, 1 oriental salad, 6 marinated chilled tomato and 2 choice of rice/ noodle. WB opt for multigrain rice while I opt for multigrain vermicelli. Multigrain rice/ vermicelli requires top up if order ala carte but no top up is required for set. The soup is very light and there's no MSG as I didn't feel thirsty after the meal. The grilled milkfish is so soft and tender. As for the prawnroll, my mum makes better prawnroll. The oriental salad taste similar to Din Tai Fung's one while the marinated tomato is so refreshing. The soup contains a prawn, 3-4 slices of fish, tofu, meat paste which is not very filling if just ordered the soup alone.
