As a featured dish, the Tokusen Sapporo Miso Ramen (S$19.50) came across as an all-in ramen, with 10 ingredients to complement one another. Another benefit of eating here was that they offered a free upsize of the portion of noodles, which I think was about 50% more than the regular portion. I think.

Sadly, other than stuffing myself silly with the noodles and the ingredients, I turned out to be more satiated than satisfied, because I probably placed more expectations on the broth. This time, the soup base tasted a little watered down and lacked that punch of umami, which typical Sapporo-style ramen would be able to provide. Weighing the value altogether, I might walk in next time with the intention of eating the more basic variants of the Menrui (麺類) available.

This is probably something interesting to see in your ramen, 3 pieces of potato wedges!

I definitely enjoy their miso broths and the noodle. You get to choose either thick curly noodle or thin springy (personally prefer this which much softer) noodle. $17.50

Rich tasty slurpalicious broth.

This place is rather new. It was only half full when I went and it's not a big shop. However, the ramen is really quite good. I especially liked the Miso Tonkotsu Sapparo Ramen and we also tried their classic Misso Sapparo Ramen. Their gyoza (dumplings) where chicken and well executed. Mid priced for ramen (About S$15 to $19).

You get to choose thick or thin noodles. I chose the thick as I like some bounce in my ramen noodles (think Miharu style).

I like that there's usually an option for each noodle how many char siew you want. I would go for the smaller option (less sinful) so I don't have to pay extra for char siew that I don't really want.

We also ordered a fried rice which my mom really enjoyed.

Sapporo Shio Ramen is undoubtedly the salt-based broth which has a thick, sweet and sour taste. The noodles absorb the broth well, and has a wonderful bite.
