For something richer in flavour and perfect for smoked meat lovers, their Brisket Sandwich ($10) is just the thing. Tender, moist and well-marinated, the meatâs beautifully charred layer of melt-in-your-mouth fat was so good. Stuffed with Mayonnaise, BBQ Sauce, Red Onions, and Pickled Cucumbers between toasted Potato Bun, the Smoked Brisket does however feature a more fatty cut in my opinion. Hence, I liked that the fresh-tasting pickles were able to provide that sweet yet gentle acidity to counter the heaviness of the burger. Oh and not forgetting their addictive side of Crinkle Cut Fries (+$8.00) which came coated in a finger-licking Cajun Seasoning.

I had gone for Meatsmith Xpressâ self-pickup promotion by first ordering via their site - applicable to their Campbell Lane outlet. At $10 a pop, the Meatsmith Cheeseburger is a fail-proof classic. Stacked with two Beef Brisket Patties, the hearty number was served with American Sliced Cheddar Cheese, their savoury Burger Sauce, and House Pickles. The crunchy pickles were a great addition, delivering a sweet contrast to the fluffy-soft Housemade Potato Bun. But the highlight was certainly the double patties which were well-seasoned and juicy - locking in all the beefy flavours.
Had read quite a fair bit about their MS Cheeseburger â especially so after their launch of Meatsmith Xpress which has brought upon us their attractive promotions of $10 burgers for self-pickup; would be lying if I said I wasnât camping out for its launch at Campbell Lane since I usually notice that the promotion happens at the Telok Ayer branch more often.
Found my itchy fingers preordering one via Oddle when I noticed that the $10 promotion is applicable to the Campbell Lane outlet â made a self-pickup since the workplace was near enough; the burger was still warm when I unpacked everything for the photo. There it is; the MS Cheeseburger with the Double Beef Brisket Patties, American Sliced Cheddar Cheese, House Pickles, Burger Sauce and Housemade Potato Buns in full glory. I really liked how the MS Cheeseburger sits between that messy and sinfully good burger without being particularly âinformalâ â the double beef brisket patty was done with a pinkish centre; especially loved how there werenât any fatty or veiny bits while the patties are flavourful without being greasy nor gamey. The patty is sufficiently firm to each bite; doesnât feel crumbly yet maintained juiciness. A cheeseburger isnât complete without American Sliced Cheddar Cheese; that stark yellow, melted goodness provides just that right level of savouriness without overpowering the patty, while the pickles carries a refreshing crunch and a tangy note to neutralise all that meatiness â the burger sauce seemingly also carried a slight tanginess (Worcestershire Sauce?) that gives a slight contrast. And those Potato Buns â really liked how these were sufficiently dense and not too airy; still had that fluffâ and still soft without feeling limp. Opted for the addition of smoked bacon at $3 extra because I wasnât quite ready to pay an add-on if $8 for fries â a great addition since I loved that sort of crisp, savoury bacon that it is here.
Grabbed the usual Kopi from Generation Coffee since Tekka Market since it was just a stoneâs throw away from Meatsmith. And yes, I did pick-up and finished eating lunch within an hour â just so if you are wondering.
Its needless to say how Meatsmith Xpressâs MS Cheeseburger has gotten quite the hype over social media these days â I couldnât agree further; perhaps one of the top few cheeseburgers I have had thus far. Loved itâs handy size, whilst being easy to eat yet refined â nothing too messy despite its sinful looks. Truth to be told; I am actually quite stoked to try the other burgers that they have on the $10 self-pickup menu now â perhaps one of the things we ought to appreciate with dine-ins not being an option âŚ

đ´First had these a year ago during Circuit Breakerâs special $10/burger promo and glad that theyâre now part of Meatsmith Xpress self-pick up specials. At $10, theyâre a steal for the generous portions (think two slabs) of meat.
We were undecided on which we preferred between the cheeseburger with its double patty and brisket burger with its smoky charred meat. While the potato bun was adequately fluffy and soft, we wished for both meats to be more juicy and tender. The overall bite was on the drier side and could probably do with more sauce.
Overall, not anything fantastic but definitely worth it at the current price point and highly satisfying.

For only $10.70, you could self pickup takeaway from their outlet at Little India.
Order from their website and choose the time to collect. I arrived earlier but they would prepare my burger on the spot.
Featured 2 patties of juicy beef brisket with sliced cheddar cheese, pickled, sauce and potato bun. Pretty easy to eat even for takeaway and wonât get dirty after.
