If you frequently visit Killiney Road, you should very familiar with this ramen restaurant. Do you know they have been operating here since 2012? So this year, they are celebrating their 20th anniversary!

Although they started as a ramen restaurant, this outlet actually served more items than their regular ramens. So you could find some other interesting Japanese foods like this one.

The menchi katsu curry is their specially prepared minced pork cutlet served with homemade curry.

The minced pork cutlet was soft inside with crunchy skin. The curry was delicious and not too spicy. Do add some egg to complete your meal.

This is one of my go to favourite ramen store in Singapore! I love the spicy ramen ($14) because it’s so tasty and I like how thin the noodle is. The soup doesn’t look like it’s going to be spicy but wow, it really packs a punch. It can be quite spicy for those who can’t take chilli. The seaweed is also different but this is why it’s unique. You can also order a lemon to twist things up a bit. The change of flavours from the lemon refresh my palate. Adding in the fried garlic also changes the flavour. With one bowl of ramen and so many tasty flavours, isn’t that great!! Overall this bowl of ramen comforts me on a rainy day.

Anything garlic will catch my eye. I requested well-done, and the meat was tough n hard. I thot fondly of the beef don at Sushi Bar Dining. Huge difference in terms of price and quality. I guess you really get what you pay for. The good thing was that they provide free flow fried garlic so I piled it on to comfort myself. The sauce was not bad. Savory Teriyaki with a good dash of black pepper. The vege side dish didn't taste good. It was sour with a hint of salt. And the rice was so soft that it was mushy. Total fail. The star of the whole dish was actually the potato salad. Very creamy with chunks of potato n bits of ham, I liked it a lot. Miso soup was good too. It was even nicer than the ramen soup.

I got the all-in Zenbu Nose ramen (spicy). It didn't look spicy at all but packed quite a punch. The stewed pork belly was melt-in-the-mouth tender and the pork slices didn't have a foul porky taste. The soup was too salty thou. Egg was good, but not the best. The Japanese family at the next table had oyako don and curry. Looked good. I wanna try those next.

The chicken broth was surprisingly rich and flavourful! Quite hearty! I got the spicy version of their marutama ramen, not the aka ramen. The spicy and non-spicy marutama ramen LOOKS exactly the same but it tastes different! The spicy one have this peppery or spicy taste to it but it doesn't look spicy at all. The char Siew was really tender and melts in your mouth. I quite enjoy the egg as it's a little different from the ones I've tried. The center have almost a soft boiled egg texture to it.

I tried the ramen with the condiments provided like the fried garlic chips, sesame seeds and Chilli pepper flakes. The garlic chips are really fragrant but it overpowered the chicken broth. The sesame seeds does give it an extra Fragrance and the Chilli pepper flakes gives a more spicy kick to it. It isn't spicy at all for me but it may be different for others. The bill came up to be around $16+. The place is really quiet and empty when I went there. But I do see a few Japanese people having their meal there. Means this stuff is legit!!!
