Markozar (Teck Whye)

@markozarmarkozar offers a series of decadent desserts such as martabak manis, banana cheese, Portuguese egg tarts and Kuih Keria Viral (Sweet potato donuts coated with gula melaka). I had their martabak manis with half corn and half peanut flavours which was chewy and I liked how these flavours added an extra crunch to the texture. The Banana Cheese Ferrero had banana fritters with Nutella, cheese and milk, boasting rich flavours and I enjoyed it too. The Portuguese Egg Tart was crisp and fragrant and the Kuih Keria Viral was dense with the gula melaka not being too sweet too! The packaging is very cute as well, swipe till the end to see it.

You can get these desserts on their website for delivery or at their outlets (the half half martabak flavour is only available at their outlets). They have mini martabak manis samplers for you to get a little of everything too! Can't wait to order from them for when I need my martabak manis fix 🤗

Shooo chocolatey and bits of cruncy in each bite. Drooling again just typing this out.

Pancake with cheese and condensed milk. It cost $6.50 and it is something special in a coffeeshop. I would say it's not bad

This original flavour pancake was surprisingly good. Pancake drizzled with condensed milk and topped with a generous portion of cheese flazes. Best to eat it once served as it won't taste as good when the pancake becomes soggy.

Also tried the matcha churros (can't rmb the exact name), but it was too gelat that we could barely finish it.

Matcha banana: im one hella insane matcha lover. I’m definitely not banana lover but I tried it because of matcha. It only tasted quite nice while it was warm but after a few bites and when they were cooled down, I easily found ʼem a little weird and didn’t manage to finish it.

Nutella cheese (Nutella falls): I love Nutella and nuts so overall it’s all good, I finished ʼem all except the bottoms if y’all call it pancakes(?) because it’s too thick and I’m too full to consume whole thick pancake.

Result: definitely, I’ll go for Nutella again, but probably, Nutella fried banana next time!
