Inspired by the 19th century's Golden Age of fine drinking, Manhattan is a grand hotel bar where craft bartending meets artisanal spirits.

New post!

#TGIF at my fav @manhattan_sg @regentsingapore. New menu, this time on the eras of my beloved NYC. Make sure you get this version of Mac n Cheese to go with the potent and delicious cocktails. More on www.ms-skinnyfat.com Active link in bio.

Revived after a night of @the_clumsies x @manhattan_sg.

Still one of my favorite places to drink at! And Happy Birthday Manhattan! Look forward to the revamp to the menu which will now bring you through the different eras of my favorite city.

Cedric's Regalo

Senior Bartender and Bacardi Legacy Singapore finalist Cedric's Regalo is the gift that keeps on giving - Deceptively easy drinking yet packing a heady punch of rum, you'll keep coming back for more. A racy, complex, intriguing libation of housemade Earl Grey tea syrup, lemon juice, orange peel and walnut bitters floated at the end with Tiger beer that's perfect as a "sesh" cocktail, or as a punch bowl shared between friends.

Drop by Manhattan bar and #HaveARegalo. You won't be disappointed. #RegaloCocktail

Taste: 3.5/5

Decadent adult's Sunday Brunch at Manhattan Bar in Regent Singapore.

All items are free-flow, and you get to pick from a selection of six cocktails (the Peppermint Chocolate Milk-esque "Charlie Brown" is the most memorable) as well as beer, pinot grigio/chianti house pours; delicatessen/seafood/meat food stations (the Alaskan King Crab contained the most delicious crab juice I've had ever); a la carte hot plates (the PB&J Waffle with Foie Gras is my favourite); and desserts, many of which include overt alcohol ingredients (e.g. the Apple Cake Pop, Negroni Creme Brûlée and Margarita Dome). I am positively gobsmacked, and stuffed, and not sure if I can go home on my own.

Always a privilege to be here, together with good company.

:) This is the Blockhouse No. 1, created for the newest "Central Park" district menu.
Congratulations to @manhattan_sg at @regentsingapore on securing the 11th position of the world @50bestbar, with the honorable mention that it is the best bar in Singapore(out of three) in the list! Crystal Room 🍷($29)

Manhattan Bar is introducing a line-up of cocktails and bar bites as part of their new district menus. 🌃

While not the sexiest looking drink on their Central Park inspired menu, the Crystal Room was easily my favourite! 🙌Using Lagavulin whisky, the smoky alcohol was made into such a refreshing yet creamy cocktail with lime, mint and egg whites. I certainly felt like a big boy sipping on one of these. 👦

MANHATTEN BAR

MAD DOG COCKTAIL
---------------
If you adore/love/ can't live without cocktails, @manhatten_sg is a MUST place to go to.

Living up to its reputation as one of the World's 50 best bars, here I could satisfy my cocktail fix. The cocktail is easy drinking yet don't be fooled as its potency slowly seeps in like a cobra with the ultimate 'bite' that could make anyone swoon.
.
I love the regal-looking New York style ambience and dim setting which exudes intimacy. And it's Adults-only! So if you have kids with you, don't fret as Basilico is also a great dining option!
.
On a side note, I had this whiskey-based Mad Dog cocktail served over to Basilico, courtesy of the staffs at @regentsingapore; professional and warm service as always.

PB&J Waffle from Manhattan Bar's Sunday Cocktail Brunch - cornbread, foie gras, peanut, raspberry jam.

While the peanut butter and foie gras may ply richness of different currencies, their collaboration affords the gustatory equivalent of sweet Bukit Timah prime estate. 4/5

This was a hosted meal, courtesy of Manhattan Bar. The Sunday Cocktail Brunch is available from 11.30am to 3.30pm every Sunday.

There's Negroni, and there's Aged Negroni.

I love the fact that my deeply aromatic drink came from one of the wooden barrels housed within the world's first In-hotel rickhouse in The Regent Singapore. And incidentally, I must credit @larvitar for his help in making this shot happen. Thanks Shawn! 😄
Thank you @manhattansg for hosting me and thanks @burpple for the invitation.

; soooo gouda Just part of the cheese selection offered during @manhattan_sg Sunday Buffet brunch.

From soft cheeses to pungent blues, jams, fruit compotes, crackers, and bagels (not forgetting boozy cocktails), they've got you covered.
That Hop Scotch Ale cheddar reigning as one of my favourites. Also their house-whipped herb chive cream cheese together with the salted paprika crackers had me going: oohhhhh sweet cheesus 😎 [Special thankyou to @burpple and the lovely Andreana @andythebanshee, Chef Nicolas of @manhattan_sg for organizing this brunch.]

This Free-flow Cocktail Brunch Has Good Desserts Too ($150++ per adult, Sundays only)

Most people's ears would prick up at the words "free flow of cocktails" but the desserts at Manhattan Bar's "Adults Only Cocktail Brunch" were impressive too. The standouts for me were the Margarita Dome (which coupled a refreshing burst of zestiness with a crisp biscuit base), and the aromatic and apologetically alcoholic Negroni Creme Brûlée. I also enjoyed the delightful duo of cronuts (such lightness!) as well as the luscious Red Velvet Trifle.
Thanks @manhattansg for hosting us today, and as always, thanks @burpple for the invitation.

Manhattan Cocktail Brunch Buffet 150bucks

Vying for seconds of the sweet aromatic Maple-Pecan Cronut, what we called the "very naughty" Negroni Creme Brûlée and the sinfully indulgent White Chocolate Peanut Butter Cigar. One of the better ways to shrug off all stress with this Sunday brunch hour, where only adults are permitted entry, free flow of delectable delights, the alcohol game's strong and you'd probably be more than just tipsy after the meal. Why not. [Special thankyou to @burpple and the lovely Andreana, Chef Nicolas of @manhattan_sg for organizing this brunch.]

Delirious good fun at Manhattan Bar's Sunday Cocktail Brunch where hair is let down, the tittering of sexy international singles echoes in the background, and wonderful sweets and savouries are paired with an endless flow of craft cocktails.

These are some of the sweets - the alcoholic desserts which include the efficiently heavy-handed Negroni Crème Brulee and electrifyingly sour Margarita Dome are highlights, while elsewhere the White Chocolate Peanut Butter Bar plays like a sinfully indulgent valentine to peanut butter lovers.

Assorted Desserts • S$150++ per Pax For Cocktail Brunch

[PART 3] @manhattan_sg's cocktail brunch features an extremely impressive dessert bar.

Baked cookies, Negroni crème brûlées, darn good cronuts, margarita domes and baked Alaskas are among the delightful dessert spread available here. Besides the cocktails, the desserts were my absolute favourite. This is how I imagine the Mad Hatter's tea party would be like.
The cocktail brunch (S$150++ and very worth it) is only available on Sundays from 1130-1530 and making reservations are highly recommended.
Thanks to the wonderful hospitality of Andreana, Chef Nicholas and Bar Manager Philip. Also, thank you @Burpple for the invite!

Mini Red Velvet Trifle

Another shot of delight, only, the 'red' wasn't from beets but replaced with raspberry compote instead. I've always been a fan of chocolateXsour-fruit combination, so this easily receives my stamp of approval. [Special thankyou to @burpple and the lovely Andreana @andythebanshee, Chef Nicolas of @manhattan_sg for organizing this brunch.]
