Matcha Red Bean Bread ($2)
it's usual flavour that I see it a lot before on the bakery. They went to add red bean inside the topping. But it's quite mixed taste for sweet aftertaste. The dough for bread was quite bitter and complemented well with sweet topping.
Matcha Red Bean Chestnut Bread ($2)
it's unique flavour that I didn't see it before . They went to mix with sliced chestnut and red bean inside the topping. But it's quite mixed taste for sweet and nutty aftertaste. The dough for bread was quite bitter and complemented well with sweet topping.
Surprisingly, the bread wasn't dry! Unlike the overpriced cinnamon roll I tried from Paris Baguette which was. The bread was pretty soft and sweet. Unfortunately the amount of cinnamon in this was kinda pathetic, just tiny little stripes of cinnamon that barely added any taste. The cinnamon taste was also pretty faint. This was like eating plain bread with a hint of sweetness, but it was actually still pretty good.

🤑 worth the price: 20c: definitely. $1.80: no

The black sesame filling is kind of a mix of sweet black sesame paste (like in MuYoo's bread) and black sesame seeds. Definitely lives up to it's name of being crunchy! It's nutty and grainy and sweet enough. The bread is pretty soft but on the dense side.
Overall a good bread!

i think it’s pretty good esp the bread base it’s super dense and chewy and slightly sweet and the sweet potato filling is pretty generous and well evenly spread out
I like the addition of the soft and mooshy chestnut! There’s about 1.5-2 chestnuts given, 1 piece as topping and 1 more inside the bun. The red bean is like their regular red bean, it’s generously filled as usual and red bean paste is a bit sweet, but still at an acceptable level of sweetness bc the sugar brings out the flavour of the red bean. Bread itself has a very slight bitterness to it, it has discernible difference from the regular red bean bun. I think this is one of my top 3 fav buns from mama!
