The main highlight of this place is actually their signature laksa, which is what they have started at first back in East Coast Road few years ago.

They have closed that place and rebrand as a bistro & bar today in Chinatown. Continue using their mom’s legacy recipe to make this authentic nyonya laksa.

The preparation and making of this nyonya laksa is not easy, and I would say they made it decent with the lemak taste. Accompanied with the usual fishcake, cockles, prawns and bean sprouts.

There’s also a dry version and you have the option to make it a set with a small plate of rojak.

So next time if you looking for good nyonya laksa and somewhere quiet, this is probably the best place to go.

It is sad to see this place always empty and perhaps they need to look into how to improve the speed of preparing the foods. Or else it would be a waste to see this recipe lost without much support.

I have passed by this place for many times and wanted to try, but became skeptical as there’s always no one eating here.

So I finally took the courage to come in for lunch with colleagues.

The foods here actually taste decent with high reviews on Google. But I think one main problem here would be the waiting time.

Our food took more than 30 mins to come in complete, even though we are the only group of people eating here.

But the wait is worthy if you have the time, their deep fried cauliflower did a very well for the taste and texture actually. They are soft as you bite and you could immediately enjoy the crispy of cauliflower inside.

There’s lots of options for foods in Chinatown, and along Sago Street you would find this place that’s always very quiet and no diners.

You would be surprised when looking at the menu of this place, which is not something you come in mind for a bistro and bar. They served local Chinese dishes here.

Coming in group mean you get to order some side dishes to go with. And their fried garlic beancurd definitely worth getting.

Super soft and tasty as you dip with chilli sauce.

We also gotten the smoked pork ($9) as well which had a distinct smoky taste (alittle like Bak Kwa). Chilli was a little strange with the pork tho.

It was quite thick and flavourful! Love how the prawns were fresh and deshell super cleanly. We also gotten the smoked pork ($9) which had a distinct smoky taste (alittle like Bak Kwa). Chilli was a little strange with the pork tho.

This smoked pork slices dish was pretty addictive and the chilli dip brought the dish up a notch!
