Beyond generous ingredients for $5. Love everything from the fuzhou ball, fried dumpling, chilli, soup & friendly service. Most importantly the precious fried satay fish, which they painstakingly dry in the sun and fry themselves.

A very good bowl of Bak Chor Mee ($5). Mee Kia was al dente and springy. The dried shrimp based chilli sauce added layers of flavour to the noodles. Liver was a bit over cooked and the portion was a tad small but otherwise no complaints. Happened to see a whole chicken in the pot of broth which explains the difference in flavour of the soup.
One of the best BCM in SG
This bowl really appeals to me.
.
The gravy is nicely balanced with sour savoury spicy flavour, the braised mushrooms are thick cut yet tender with earthy salty savoury notes.
.
The pork meat balls are juicy and meaty, while the fresh crisp lettuce lends a vegetal sweet contrast.
.
A generous portion of minced pork, crisp fried pork dumplings that crunch satisfyingly, and a large fried flat fish with sharp flavour completes.
.
So good.

I guess this is the all-in order, featuring bcm plus fried wanton skin, fishballs and Fuzhou meatballs. It was excellent and I have no complaints. Most outstanding were the seasoning, very porky soup and the juicy meatballs.
