It's one of the choices from the 6 main course available for their lunch set this month. My choice was their Mentaiko Carbonara at $15.30 nett with a glass of Iced Maccha Latte. Quite affordable and delicious meal at Orchard. 🍵

Beside serving their signature matcha drink and dessert, they also served some meals over here.

I gotten their monthly special, with juicy premium beef striploin paired with teriyaki glazed unagi on Japanese rice; and served with furikake and onsen egg. The combo donburi also accompanied with miso soup, a side of pickled radish, cucumber and carrot with yuzu.

I do admit that their meal here wasn’t too impressive as their matcha drink. Although the meats was good as a meal, juicy as I want it to be.

Whenever you crave for some authentic matcha, Maccha House offered a wide range of matcha in drinks and dessert to satisfy your craving.

Here I have the matcha drink topped with matcha ice cream and shiratama, a type of mochi using glutinous rice flour.

Got their mixed soft serve (matcha and vanilla) and it’s not bad for the price. As it is a soft serve, it melts very quickly. Fortunately, they provided spoons so you can eat the soft serve so it won’t be too messy. Soft serve tastes creamy. Matcha taste can afford to be stronger as the vanilla tastes slightly more overpowering. Waiting time here is pretty decent, not too long. Rating: 3.5/5.

We visited at around 9 pm on a Thursday evening and we decided to grab a drink given that the place was relatively deserted by then! We got the iced matcha latte, which was basically a cold matcha drink mixed with milk and topped off with a scoop of green tea ice cream.

The drink wasn't very bitter though and we felt that the milk overpowered the taste of the matcha! The ice cream was green tea flavoured (not matcha flavoured) and it was surprisingly on the sweeter side! While the drink wasn't what we really expected, it was still a nice place for a post-dinner conversation given that there weren't many customers by then and the environment was relatively more peaceful!
