Recommended dish
1) Ice plant- it has a very nice texture to it. Interesting dish!
2) Burnt cheesecake- im a fan of burnt cheesecake and this cheesecake definitely didnt disappoint! But it is on the pricier end!
3) Smoked cod fish liver dish- went really well with bread
4) The lumo- sweet!

The ice cream had a good flavour, it's almost savoury, kind of like scamorza. However it's too runny

The rest of the ingredients provided some sort of freshness, but there's too much basil oil.

I only had their desserts but both were not particularly stunning. Not sure why they're always full house, maybe the mains are better?

Very pricey.

I liked how the yoghurt cream was not sweet at all, just sour. The burnt cheesecake was good on the first bite, exemplary in texture, esp the creaminess and density. However after a few bites it turns into occasional greasiness, and the mild flavour means that the other smells in the air overpowers it.

Overall it's ok only

Amazing food.

While it kinda pains me to think of how pricey these Hokkaido Scallops ($30++) are per piece, at least they were plump & juicy. & good seafood is worth paying for. The smooth & thick spinach veloute was plentiful for all 4 pieces on this plate.

I thought the burnt leek would've been better if more charred, but overall this was not too shabby.

Taramasalata has fascinated me since the first time I tried it (Artichoke does a bomb ass one). It's a fish roe based dip made of salted & cured roe - which sounds super not aligned with my usual flavour preferences, but it works.

Lumo's Taramasalata ($18++) was lovely, topped with avruga caviar & drizzled generously with extra virgin olive oil. Unlike the bone marrow dish (which also came with 3 slices of sourdough bread), I wouldn't be able to finish this one on my own.

My only gripe is that I wish there were more sourdough that came with this - to balance out the bread-to-spread ratio. Granted, you could order extra bread (as you could with homemade sauces & condiments, & EVOO as well) for $3++, but my expectation would be for the dish itself to be in appropriate portioning to begin with.
